December 9, 2011 – The Orlando Magic waived guard Gilbert Arenas and designated him as the team’s amnesty player, President of Basketball Operations/General Manager Otis Smith announced. Orlando also signed rookie forward Justin Harper and rookie guard DeAndre Liggins, as well as free agent guards Larry Hughes and Gabe Pruitt.
