Is there an end of season outcome that wouldn't get Rob Hennigan fired?

It seems like the majority of the board feels that Hennigan should be fired at the end of the season. But, I'm curious if you think there is anything that can happen from this point on that would make management reconsider.

Maybe Toronto and clippers go on big losing streaks and he looks like a genius with a second pick around 16-22 range?

Definitely think he is retained no matter the record.

Where's the option for the team making zero improvements and Hennigan getting fired?

I feel like I wouldnt be surprised if they gave him one more year with the new coach to build a roster together.

I think if we finish the year strong and challenge for a playoff spot is the only thing that saves him.

Only if the Magic make the playoffs.

You can't possibly believe Vogel will get fired. 4 straight years with a different head coach is insanity.

A better question is; What GMs are available and likely to except the job here that would be any different than what we have now? (Different not in team building philosophy but in being the actual bottom line decision maker) Until that converstation gets started and the finger pointers realize it doesnt really matter I'll stay on the Rob train.

My prediction is the Magic hire Joe Dumars. Just a feeling.

Im talking about Hennigan, they give him one more year working with Vogel, they suck again and Rob is gone but Vogel would probably stay

If T-Ross plays well and the team is back on it's pre-Ibaka path, the FO might give him another go at it this off-season.

I think we hire Danny Ferry.

Anyways: I think ownership has already made their mind. Rob is out. We were out of the playoff race before ASB even started. He will be canned within a week following the season's end.

I'm not sure. I think Henny would of done more at the deadline if he felt like this was his last chance. Unless he thinks he is safe and doesn't expect the rug getting pulled out from under him.

Unless, ownership and upper management wouldn't allow him to make any deals at the deadline because they may have been more desperation deals where the Magic lose more than they get.

That could also mean Hennigan has already been stripped of power and wasn't allowed to make any moves. I doubt they would let Hennigan go rogue and make deals that would give him a chance at saving his own ass while potentially hurting the organization

If Alex Martins wants to keep his job, he's better off pushing for a Hennigan firing, whether he truly wants to fire him or not. If Hennigan was to be retained, than the perception from the fans as far as who's at fault will shift to the next man up the totem pole (Alex Martins). Basically, Martins has a scapegoat this year, and if he wants to be the CEO for at least a few more years he's better off using it.

If that were true, why is Hennigan still here? Is Hennigan's contract up at the end of the year and management doesn't want to pay him severance?
