Cap Space this offseason

I understand the cap next year is not finalized... But what is the closest correct number to how much space we will have available?
I've seen wildly different amounts posted.. 15 mill, 18 mill, 24 mill, even 30 mill.
This reddit post seems to indicate we will have 15 mill in cap space:

Sad times when Bismack and Fournier are your two highest paid players and sucking up all your cap room.

Eric Pincus has 15.7 mil listed on basketballinsiders.
http://www.basketballinsiders.com/2017-18-nba-cap-projections-at-2016-17-trade-deadline/That figure seems to include our signed 2017 draft picks? I could be wrong, but can't we put off signing those picks until after we sign a free agent (I believe we can go over the cap to sign picks)? We have a shade under 78 mil in guaranteed contracts for 8 players (renounce meeks, wilcox, rudez, zimm, green and waive watson and eat his $1 mil guarantee). According to Pincus, there is an empty roster charge of $815,615 for every empty roster spot under 13. That brings us to around 82 mil... salary cap is projected at 102 mil. Seems to me we could get to 20 mil under the cap if we wanted.

Exactly and not contributing to justify those bloated contracts...new GM needs to get those albatross contracts off the books.

Contract year for AG and EP next season... Could be the last offseason with cap space for awhile

Unless AG and Payton are traded for expirings then this will be the last summer of cap space with the roster constructed as is. So it's well worth spending some of it before we lose it.
I'd look at Patty Mills as a locker room leader / well paid sixth man.

That's not even enough to get a Bizmack or Fournier. Oh Henny...

I think Patty Mills is the one PG that we could get on a
slight bargain compared to the others. He's shooting 45% FG 41% 3P 85% FT which would be an absolutely massive upgrade. I think we could get him on a 4yr/48mil contract. This of course, assuming we don't land a PG in the draft.

Biyombo may be the worst signing in Magic history.

The minute you draft a player, there's a corresponding cap hold unless you agree with the player formally that they will not sign that upcoming season (ex: a player that opts to play overseas instead of the NBA).

Not sure why people here care so much about cap room when so many have stated that no one wants to play here.

http://www.spotrac.com/nba/orlando-magic/yearly/cap/$83 mill on the books. Waiving Watson & Zimmerman and factoring in the first rounder and cap holds adds about another 1-2 million. So based on a $102 cap Magic should have rounghly $17-18 mil in cap' enough to sign another Biyombo/Fournier.

I don't know how much he will cost or if we will have the money for him but Vogel loves George Hill, you think we go after him? How do you guys feel about Hill? Most of you want a replacement at the 1, he good enough?
