When asked if he wouldn’t mind competing in the NBA Skills Challenge, he quickly replied with a “Yes” and said, “I want to be in the 3-Point contest. I’m putting this on record.”

But similar to when Andre Drummond stated that his game was "like Kevin Durant's", I'm wondering if AG doesn't have the greatest self awareness of what he should become in this league.

AG has shot below 30% from 4 of the 5 3pt contest zones each year he's been in the league.... he's way too far off to even think about participating.

There have been so many hollow proclamations by members of the franchise this year. I'm numb to it. Good for Aaron though; no problem with having lofty goals for oneself. I just ain't buying it.

Dude ur shooting like 29% from 3 this year and under 70% from the ft line. How about getting past 35% first?

Dude hasn't made a 3 since February 13th. The closest he got to a 3 in 3 weeks was on a judge's scorecard in the dunk contest.

But if he can be a good starter around a true super star, then he helps make the Magic an exciting team to cheer for.
