Would the Magic ever consider changing their nickname?

I have noticed with the Toronto Raptors that lately they have playing as the Toronto Huskies. The Huskies logo is so cool, I believe they should change their nickname from the Raptors to the Huskies, The Huskies seems to be a big hit up there in Toronto.
For us I think our nickname the Magic is fine, but is this really our best possible nickname? We don't have a throwback nickname like Toronto does because we have always been the Magic since our franchise started. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions for a nickname that could be better than the Magic?
Maybe the Orlando Storm? We do get quite a bit of storms in the summer season mostly.
Maybe something similar to the Miami Heat nickname?

We already have an alternate nickname, and it's quite fitting right now, but I doubt Alex Martins would sign off on marketing it...

Orlando is a touristy Mickey Mouse city. I think the name 'Magic' reflects that well.
We need a good rebrand as far as logos go. Something that feels like it was designed for a basketball team and not for a theme park.

The team would change its nickname if it moved to a new city (unless to Nevada as the "Las Vegas Magic" actually sounds cool).

We won't get a new name or nickname. I've been expecting a rebrand this summer by Nike and a cleaning of house. It should have happened last year but the Adidas/Nike transition screwed things up. But tbh I'm not seeing any hints this is on the table and am worried we might go another year.

The Tampa Bay Storm already exists. Granted they are an Arena Football team, but still, it would be confusing to have storm merch for two teams so close in proximity. That said, there is nothing wrong with our nick. If we wanted an alt for funsies, then fine, just not sure what it would be.

I don't think a changing of the nickname is warranted. The Magic brand is a solid one, despite the teams struggles the last few years. It's not like the Washington Redskins situation where a great deal of people have grown offended by the name and it's turned into a hotbed issue. Magic suits Orlando just fine.

Not a fan of that pixelated/Nintendo style logo but the rest of it look amazing, especially those jerseys

Good for you. You've also been cheering the team to lose a lot lately, so get off your high horse bro. I've watched every single game all five years of this crappy rebuild... I've earned the right to joke about them being tragic without having other fans question me for it. The whole organization is disaster right now. If you can't laugh about it at this point then you're only going to drive yourself mad.
