Simple who do you predict will be a star from this year's draft and who will be a bust?

I predict:

Star: Dennis Smith Jr.
Bust: Lonzo ball.

Star will be Markelle Fultz. I don't see Ball being a bust but I think Monk has the highest bust potential.

I recommend everyone who posts in this thread to bookmark it so that you can sneak back here in 2 years and edit your posts. That way you can say, "I always wanted (this guy) but our idiot GM drafted another pooper lol."

For late picks, I expect either PJ Dozier or Edmond Sumner to carve out a starter's career in the NBA. Both have interesting games, and with the correct worth ethic, one or both could shine.

There will be only 2 All-Stars from top 10 picks, one of them perenial.

Biggest bust potential: Lonzo Ball.
Biggest star potential: Fultz, Smith and Isaac, in no particular order.

Star- Smith Jr, Isaac
Bust- Ball, Isaac

You read correctly. Isaac is in both categories.

Monk can't be considered a bust if he is destined to be a role player.

I predict:

Star: Fultz
Bust: Isaac.

Really, I worry about both Kentucky guards. Isaac is definitely a guy I'm high on but I also see the bust potential.

Fultz to me is the closest thing to a can't miss star followed by Jackson.

star : Fultz
potential bust: Monk
most overhyped: Tatum

I really think Ball is gonna be a bust. And to watch his crazy old man try to talk up his brothers after is going to be a hoot.

To pick up DSj and to pick up Giles. End up with Tatum/DSj/Giles

Payton/Smith
Ross/Fournier
Hezonja/Tatum
Gordon/Giles
Biyombo/FA


I want to have those 9+ whatever else we can get for Vucevic and/or Fournier and develop that young team, properly. Let it all go through them. Enough talent there now, not like year 2-3

Same Jackson is my #2. I actually wrote Josh Jackson first then deleted it lol. Fultz just has all the tools to be an unstoppable dominant guard in this league.

I don't see Fox busting but I do see him having a similar career path to EP. I admire his passion and will to win but that can only take you so far. At some point, talent takes over as we are seeing in the playoffs. Fox will take like 2-4 years to establish himself and find his NBA game but he is gonna be solid. He is fast, rough defender, and his midrange actually isn't bad. It's Monk I worry about. His game and size is a lock for NBA tweener

I'm surprised to see the Isaac busts posts. I've probably watched Jonathan Isaac more then any prospect this year and I just don't see how this guy cannot succeed. His shortcomings really aren't his fault but due to his coach and ballhog teammates.

Superstar: Fultz
All Star: Tatum, Ball, Jackson
Borderline All star: Isaac, Fox, Smith
Sixth man: Malik monk
Busts: Markkanen, Ntilikina

I think Fultz, Fox, Jackson, and DSJ emerge as stars out of this draft. Evey one else will either be sixth men, borderline starters, or busts. I also predict we're going to pick 5th and draft a borderline starter or bust. Good thing we won all of those meaningless games.

It is more probable that Orlando drafts 6th than 5th.

I prefer to look at it that we have a 29.2% chance to land in the Top 3. Unforunately we have a 35.9% chance to land at 6th.
