Hey all!

I'll be on Ackerman & O'Neill today at 4:30 PM. I'm sure we'll talk NBA in general and lots of Magic and the Draft and front office search.

Do you plan on talking to any Magic representatives? Could you find out if the Magic really have interest in trading with philly for the 3rd overall pick? Cause we all think if we moved up to 3 we get Josh Jackson. Ask them if they could workout/ interview Frank Jackson, Jawuan Evans, Diallo, Bam, Giles,Ike Anigboyu, Lydon, Donovan Mitchell, Modley, Thornwell, Dillon Brooks, Jonathan Jeanne. How do the magic feel about those guys I just mentioned? Do they plan on keeping all 4 draft picks and bringing them to training camp? I think we can be very happy with the 4 guys we draft so I think we should keep all 4 guys. I'm assuming with our 4 draft picks, they have 2 to 3 guys in mind at least for each possible draft pick at 6, 25, 33 and 35.

4:30 pm is when I'm at LA fitness on the weekdays, maybe watch the recording later?

lets say assuming we kept all 4 draft picks- How many of those 4 players would get playing time like one of the main guys off the bench or potentially starting? We assume at least 1 one of those guys will either be a starter or a main contributor off the bench. So with the other 3 draft rookies, how many of the 3 actually get playing time?

It really isn't the place of the media to ask/tell the team who they should interview/work out. Sorry.

What I can tell you is that right now they plan to keep all 4 picks. Likely 1 or 2 will be used on draft and stash guys or two-way contract guys who would be in the G-League next year.

But all of that is highly subjective, because we don't know who will be running the team by the time the draft rolls around. It is simply the plan as things currently stand.

Do any of the Magic representatives come on here and see what the fans say? How much do they want to see what the fans think about certain things? Do our thoughts/ opinions matter to them at all in any of their decision making or do the magic representatives make all their decisions on their own?

We seem to think the 76ERS are taking Josh Jackson at 3 whether they actually keep him or trade him. How do they feel about the Suns 4th pick and Kings 5th pick? I think the 76ers might actually want DSJ or Fox so if one of them was available at the 6th pick, than are we able to trade with Philly and get josh jackson? How do the magic feel about Josh Jackson?

We know the Suns have Bledsoe, Knight and Booker as their guards so we believe they are drafting a Wing player

The Sacramento Kings are so unpredictable, I have no clue who they would take.

I think teams like us and the 76ers are not going to swap draft picks until we actually see the top 5 picks go. When we get on the clock at our 6th overall pick, 76ers might call us up and ask us if you draft this guy for us than we can trade our 3rd pick for your 6th pick. I think this is going to happen if Fox or DSJ is available at 6.

It was nothing earth shattering. The team seems to have honed in on David Griffin and there is a sense they are increasingly frustrated that they haven't gotten permission to talk to him. They wanted to have someone in place by a month out from the draft, and that now seems somewhat unlikely.

The rest of the stuff was related to guys the team has been linked to in the Draft. Nothing you haven't seen or heard elsewhere, but I thought we would get into it. Oh well.

They need to realize that we aren't getting him and move on! Bring in someone now.

Do you get a sense Matt Lloyd is the front runner for the GM position and only thing delaying this announcement is the PBO position being filled?

Heard you mention our interest in DSJ and they completely ignored it.

Are there any other players we like; at 6, 25, or 2nd round?

Thanks for being one of a few "voices" for us fans - though I hate you're a fan of the celtics.

I do think Lloyd is a very strong contender to remain the GM. Martins and ownership and Vogel are all very comfortable with him in that role. And he's very well respected around the NBA. He's not ready to lead an entire front office himself just yet, but he's a good second in command type.

Sounds like I am riding the fence, but it really depends on who comes in to run the show. There is no stipulation they have to keep Lloyd, but it will be suggested.

Really it will be BPA at 6. Fox, Tatum, Smith and Monk seem to be the names most often mentioned. It will depend on who is in charge, as to who is ultimately drafted.

As for the Celtics, I will say that I am less a fan these days and more someone who covers the team now. Hopefully that gives you warmer feelings!

It's logical. It doesn't make much sense to create a new PBO position within the organizational hierarchy and not give that person the opportunity to choose his staff (at least for positions that are currently vacant).

It's really good news to hear that we intend to keep all four draft picks. Every draft pick is a potential lottery ticket. I don't think it makes much sense to consolidate picks unless there is a specific target you covet at a particular spot. It makes more sense than ever to utilize 2nd-round picks with the new two-way contracts.
