Predict our big off-season trade
We all know there is going to be a shakeup to the roster this off-season. So I was curious to see what type of deals you all think could happen or hope happen?
My prediction:
Magic in: jabari Parker, Greg Monroe, tecklovic.
Bucks in: Vooch, Fournier, elf and maybe are late first or 2nd rounder if they demand it.
I know this might seem like alot for jabari but I think him and Gordon could be a really good forward duo. Gordon would guard the quicker guys and jabari would guard the bigger guys.
I think having the Hammond connection could help get this done. Now unless they put the same restriction they did on the raptors then this is a bad trade example.
By doing this move we would most likely have to take a point guard with our 6th pick. So one of fultz, ball, fox, Dsj would have to be it. I could get excited about a lineup of:
Pg: dsj (for example or any other of the listed above), dj, FA vet or draft pick
Sg: ross, Mario, FA vet or draft pick
Sf: jabari/Gordon , Mario, FA vet or draft pick
Pf: Gordon/jabari, tecklovic, FA vet or draft pick
C: biz, monroe, zimm
I think by doing this deal it would allow are young guys to take the next step in development. It would free up more opportunities for are young guys to touch the ball more and allow them to gain confidence in there game. Plus we get out of some longer contracts of players who haven't gotten us over the hump.

Re: Predict our big off-season trade
Monroe will likely decline hisnplayer option. Also, I'm pretty sure we have a no trade rule with Milwaukee, similar to the one with Toronto, for the 2017-2018 season.
Either way, Milwaukee wouldn't do that trade.

Also, I don't think there will be a big trade. Maybe a few minor ones (like moving EP/Augustin/Fournier), but nothing HUGE

That's what I wasn't sure of. I new of are raptors deal but I haven't heard anything on the Hammond/bucks front.

If Spurs are thinking about Chris Paul... I'll predict a Gasol and 1st Rd Pick for Vuc. Gives them some more cash to throw at CP3

Well, is trading any of our current players considered major though?
I believe Big trades consists of all stars at least.

That only gets them ~15 million in cap space because Vuc makes 4 million less than pau. They'll have to unload green to have a chance, and possibly take back a smaller contract than Vuc's in exchange for gasol. I don't think they're willing to dismantle their team for a "chance" at Paul. It would not be very spurs of them

Unless it's for an all star talent, Idon't expect any huge trades. Maybe something to improve the bench or shed some bad contract(biz).

Re: Predict our big off-season trade
I expect either Vucevic or Biyombo to be moved.
Elfrid Payton might be traded depending on The Draft.
I don't see anything beyond that but you never know what trade opportunity will pop up.

Do you think the Magic can keep both Ross and Fournier? For me one is near certain to get shipped. And if the Magic draft Isaac or Tatum, it then becomes certain for me.

Re: Predict our big off-season trade
For an idea around a Big Trade, two names I guess we could follow are Jimmy Butler and Otto Porter Jr (in a SnT). The Magic has assets to make a run at either. But Chicago and Washington only conserver moving their Ace Bfs if the player asks for the trade.
Example trades:
Orlando #6, Fournier, Zimmerman, next years 1st and 2020 Magic first for Butler.
Orlando #25 and Fournier for Porter (SnT).

Yes, I do.
Even if they pick Tatum, that's a good 3 man rotation at the 2 and 3 spots.
A question we will be what The new Magic brass thinks of Hezonja and if they will still want him to play 4 or if they will choose to give up on him.
I still think it is too early to give up on Hezonja but it's possible he gets packaged. I would not give him away for nothing though.

Vucevic for Crowder makes a lot of sense for both teams.

Re: Predict our big off-season trade
Roster under contract for at least 2017/18
PG: Payton / Augustin / Watson
SG: Fournier
SF: Hezonja
PF: Gordon
C: Vucevic / Biyombo / Zimmerman
Looking at that roster I can only see two potential trades occurring.
The first is trading Elfrid Payton if we end up drafting De'Aarron Fox or Dennis Smith. With those two draftees they would arguably be ready to start from day one, or at least they should be starting from day one to get the minutes and development they would require in order to become our long term solution at the point guard position. So if we draft a point guard - and I'm not saying we should - then it would make sense for us to try and get something in return for Elfrid Payton because there's not reason to keep hold of him for backup duties when we have Augustin and Watson under contract.
The second trade I could see happening is Vucevic or Biyombo. Of the two players I would prefer to keep Vucevic because even though he isn't the greatest shot blocker, I think he has a better overall effect on how the team performs than Biyombo. The issue with Biyombo is he doesn't offer much offense and on a team that already has a question mark next to it for scoring and shooting, I don't think we can afford to have Biyombo as a full time starter because he's a liability on that end. On defense he can contribute, but even then I don't see him being a significant upgrade over Vucevic. So I would rather keep Vucevic because he offers some scoring and I still believe he can develop a useful 3 point shot like Brook Lopez has developed, at that point his offensive game would be pretty well rounded and his acceptable defense would make him a better piece to the puzzle than Biyombo. So I would try and find someone willing to take Biyombo off our hands, however it is possible that no one will want him at that salary point, whereas they would want Vucevic. Either way I see one of these centers being moved.
Outside of that I don't see any other major moves being made. We don't need to clear cap space for a run at free agency. We'll probably be rebuilding through the draft and looking at more sensibly priced free agents than the top tier guys (who probably wouldn't consider us).

Fournier needs to be coming off the bench with Payton. Addressing our weak bench is one of the top priority this offseason. Take DSJr with the 6th and send Payton and Fournier to the bench.
Biz, Vuc, and Payton are the top candidates to be moved. Bringing in Zach Collins makes you wonder.

I do not think Fournier needs to come off the bench. He just needs the right wing player next to him.
Payton might start for a bit if they Draft a PG at #6. His future is very much up in the air.

Ross is a more team oriented player where as Fournier is all about getting his shots. Bring him off the bench and let him jack up shots when we need him to and start Ross who is more flexible and a better defender.
EP has one more season to show how much he can improve. Hammond said we are going with the BPA at that 6th and it could very well be DSJr or maybe Isaac. Depends which one they feel has a better chance to be a star.
IMO we shouldn be putting everyone but AG on the table to get another Top 8-9 pick and try to land both a PG and a wing.

Why does that make sense for the Celtics?
