Doesn't appear D’Alessandro has any previous ties to Weltman or Hammond FWIW.

Kings fans seem to absolutely hate this guy. Apparently he traded Isaiah for nothing just to spite Malone.

Did we just hire a rat? This is the guy that was supposedly ratting out everybody in the sacramento organization to the press. Players and staff didn't like him. He also prematurely got rid of Isaiah Thomas and Mike Malone. He agreed on Stauskas over Payton... don't let this guy have any input on the draft!

edit: apparently he offered iggy a deal and then pulled out last minute after it was publicly leaked... iggy's response: "Despicable Me looking azz boi!"

He did work directly with Masai Ujiri in Denver, so maybe he put in the good word with Weltman.
