1. This is going to be an extremely active night for the forum and there will be many posters, so enjoy the night. We're going to potentially get up to 4 new prospects joining our team, as well as a possible trade or two. This will be an exciting night.

2. Moderation will be a little more hands on tonight. Not strict, but tempers will undoubtedly flare due to numerous posters not getting the prospect(s) they wanted. Do you really want to get suspended on draft night? Are you going to throw a tantrum before the guy even suits up for Summer League? There will be a week of extremely fun topics to post in that you may miss out on if you get suspended. Keep a cool head and express your emotions in a positive way, it's possible.

3. Please be wary of spoilers you're posting. Woj likes to leak the picks early, we all know that. This forum is a bit of a reprieve so people won't get spoiled. See the "Post Reply" button at the bottom? Not "Quick Reply", but "Post Reply". Yes, that one.

Above the text box, there are buttons that say gfycat, instagram, s, spoiler. See the last one?

If you'd like to spoil a pick, I'd prefer if you highlight the message and press the spoiler button.

It's easy. Please try to put a spoiler on draft pick announcements if they're a few minutes in advance to the actual pick. Anything else is fair game, some people have streams that are behind but that's their problem.

DISCORD

We have an Orlando Magic Discord server if you don't know about it. There is an invite here to click on. Make a name (it's really easy), and it's basically a live chatroom to chat with fellow Magic RealGMers.

It's not meant to supplant posting in this thread. Please continue to post in here as well as the live chat, but I thought it would be cool to have us hang out spot to have a few drinks and banter and shoot the ****. There is a text chatroom, and there is also an audio chatroom if people want to get on mic and talk there as well. This won't be moderated. But yeah, sign up and there'll be a number of us in there as well as in here.

I'm going to sticky this and open this thread up tomorrow afternoon.

Let us give thanks it's not another Henny draft.

This is going to be an interesting night. Lots of activity even days before and I think there will be a good bit of movement tonight as the draft plays out. We'll also have a pretty good idea after tonight as to what direction our new front office is taking.

Maybe. It's out of my control. If they screw up, I'm going to throw a tantrum. I don't see why I'm accountable for that. It's their mistake, not mine.

Twitter has ruined the draft for me so I am turning it off tonight at 7pm sharp. Woj is fun for trades during the deadline, but it kills the fun of the reveals tonight.

In a way, I'm actually more interested to see what kind of trades Weltman/Hammond can pull off over who they're planning to pick at 6.

I've overloaded myself on the top 10 players in this draft. I'm ready to sink my teeth into some trades.

This thread should be absolute gold tonight. Will be doing more lurking than anything else. I hope it's a great night for all of us Magic fans.

All I ask is that we please draft DSJ and do not even think of trading the 6th pick to the Spurs for Lamarcus Aldridge because if that happens, it's a guarantee I'll be banned from here.

I mean if we did that so would I.

Can we please just draft DSJ, Isaac, or even Monk. I really hope we don't overthink it. If we take Lauri or Frank at 6 I will be extremely upset. At the end of the day I support and root for all of the young guys on the team so I will if it's one of them as well but in many ways all the suffering us fans went through this season would go to waste if we draft one of them in my opinion.

Alright.. let's go!!! I can't wait for this. 4 picks!!! Although realistically I expect some trade and think we only come out of this with 2 rookies.
