15 points/game
7 rebounds/game
3 assists/game
1.5 blocks/game
1.5 steals/game

A little optimistic but this is a Magic forum :D

21.4 MPG, .454 FG%, .325 3PT%, .763 FT%, 4.3 RPG, 1.0 APG, 0.9 SPG, 1.2 BPG, 9.9 PPG with pretty good defense.

I think they're going to bring him along slowly, but he should give better minutes than Green did.

I think you're spot on with Isaac's line. Couldn't agree more!

I got a feeling he's gonna see the bench alot this year. Vogal is again gonna try to win games this year. I hate to go through ANOTHER coach change but I don't think hes the right coach for this team. I hope Issac gets plenty of burn but I just dont see it.

Isaac is far too good to be wasted away on the bench of a weak team. I think he gets 25 minutes a game.

Jeff Green's minute are gonna have to go somewhere. lol I think they will bring him along slowly. and by slowly i mean 25 min sounds correct to me. That would be a decent first year for him.

Imma go a tad higher on the points. He might become one of elf's favorite targets. But assuming he has a slow start to the season... yeah.... you could be in the correct ballpark for season averages.

I pray you guys are right. Vogel's track record tells me otherwise. (Mario Herzonja) Unless this kid hits the ground running and helps us win games I just think Vogels will sit him to win games. I want this kid playing 25 minutes and I want him in during crucial moments of the 4th quarter. We must develop this kid.

Vogel has been a coach longer than 1 season. Track record also includes Myles Turner and Paul George. Though he wasnt head coach during George's rookie year (20mpg), he was HC in PG's 2nd year and got nearly 30mpg.

Everything depends on how much Isaac can grasp and handle. No freebie playing time anymore.

Exactly. I am saying this based on what I think of Isaac and know about Frank. Frank will play guys who understand and execute what they need to be doing out there. Isaac has a very high IQ and is a fast learner. Additionally, he is too good to not be on the floor, as he will help us on both ends.

Mario is not the same situation as Isaac. Mario turned the ball over a lot and was making a ton of mental mistakes. Isaac will make mistakes, but he has a much higher IQ than most young players. In other words, Mario sat because of himself - not because of Frank.

Yeah we've had 4 coaches in 3 years, if we made another now we'd be laughed out of the league.

Nice post, gives me confidence that with Isaac's high basketball IQ that Coach Vogel will play him if he's ready for a good sized role.

I had missed the ol' John Denton, "how surreal was it?" questions...

Denton: "Jonathan can you talk about your length and how it helps you recover faster and block shots and bother shooters on closeouts?"

Honestly the most embarrassing PR guy of all time. He asks the question and then answers it so the player can just say "most definitely, yes I am tall and I can do those things."

Hahaha every damn year. Same questions over and over.

Cant wait for him to ask it again after first game: "How surreal is it to play your first game?"

I agree with most of this but I think he will have a better shooting percentage from 3. That's not far off AGs average and JI has a much smoother stroke then AG. I'm shooting for around 34-35% rookie year. He didn't attempt much at FSU.

I agree. That's why I don't mind Robbins. He's a nice median between Denton and Bianchi. He's not a complete homer like Denton but he's also not a compete A-hole like Bianchi is but will still ask some tuff questions.

"Jonathan, it's your first game in a Magic uniform. Can you describe the incredible energy of the crowd, the fantastic ticket prices they got on OrlandoMagic.com, how great Alex Martins is and how amazing the city of Orlando is for attending this contest?"

Yes, Robbins is a very good beat reporter. Very pro. Does his job and asks smart questions.
