Let's support him until he gives us a reason to dislike him.

I like the pick in a vacuum. Not sure if we're the best team to help him develop tho...

The right pick. Obvious choice at 6 with all his upside.

I think the pick was a mistake, but I'm a Magic fan so I'll be rooting for him to prove me wrong.

Isaac is a better free throw shooter than DSJ and shoots just 1% worse from 3pt land.

Where is this rumor that Isaac can't shoot coming from?

His thin frame and lack of strength are what make him a project. His basketball skills are silky smooth much farther along than anyone we took under Henny.

I've been expecting this for about a week or two now and we'll just have to see if he can develop into more than a 3 and D players for us. We need big things from him. Hope he can provide.

I thought I read somewhere he shot like 25% from three but now that I looked at his stats again I was wrong.

He was the best player and I like his upside.

It was the pick I wanted if the big 5 were not available and it happened.

Isaac also might play some center at times.

They picked BPA and I am happy.

Welcome to Orlando Jonathan Issac!

Honestly feared Boston or Phoenix would take him. Thank our lucky stars that BOS took Tatum! That was huge.

I wanted Jackson or Fox to slip although I did say the big 5.

This is a very nice pick.

The very thought of drafting Issac made me sick. the more I watched, the more I saw his skill and I understood management's vision for this team. I love the pick. We're talking ELITE defense between Aaron and Issac. When you're facing Giannis, Paul George, Khawi etc, that length can give us a chance. He can play SF on offense and PF on defense. I love this pick.

Best pick this franchise has made in a long time. Would have taken him #1.

Jackpot!

I fully agree with everyone that hoping an athlete learns to shoot is often a bad strategy and it is one which hasn't worked out for Orlando a number of times.

But that just isn't the case here.

The plan here is we took a super high potential kid with freak measurable who has a fantastic feel for the game on both ends of the floor and we just hope he can put on some weight as he gets older. I can tell you from experience that putting on weight with age is quite easy...

Kidding aside, the other big issue is the question mark about being an alpha. We need a go-to player. He never showed that at FSU. He wasn't put in that position either.

I don't know. I'm really interested in seeing what Vogel can do with him.

Well if those earlier rumors are true about teams like the Spurs trying to trade into the lottery to snag him then maybe we have someone who could be a huge steal.

Looking forward to seeing him play, Welcome to Orlando.
