Ok, let's guess the number of nationally televised games for the Magic

I'm going for...

Three.

We have 15 sets of back to backs, same as last season.

Hate the fact that we open up against Miami again. It's essentially like a road game to start the season. The fan fair just isn't the same when we open the season against Miami as oppose to teams like the wizards, hornets, hawks. But either way I'll be there

Lol, the trash Lakers get 35 nationally televised games just because of Ball and their market size. I'd rather watch the Pacers for Dipo, the Kings for their new look and Fox, the Bulls to see a Lavine led team, the Jazz to see how they'll do without Hayward, etc. But no, we're always force fed the Warriors, Cavs, Lakers of the world. So tired of watching those teams.

We will be the league's best kept secret. You can literally use this list in arguments showing how hard a time the casual basketball fan will have in catching a Magic game

Come later on in the season I wouldnt be surprised if the lakers get dropped from some of their TV games. As well as teams like Bucks/Denver/Minny to get a few more added eventually.

Mid-late November is rough, that's a lot of road games. However, I think post all-star break looks really nice. A good deal of the teams they will face then will be either lottery teams or teams fighting for the playoffs, so if the Magic can be in the race for the playoffs themselves, then that could be a favorable schedule for them. I'm hoping at the very least it will be an interesting season with a lot of growth for this team no matter what the record is, and we'll go into the next offseason optimistic for once.

You'd think our sponsors at Disney would use their 80% shareholder interest in ESPN to get us at least one game on the network ;)

The league ALWAYS sends us on an early season west coast road trip.

:o If we can stay near .500 (at max 5-6 games under .500) until the end of March/Early April where we have a nice run of home games and soft road games, I can see the team going 37-39 wins.

8-10 game improvement, with no playoffs and a crappy lotto pick. Missing out on a chance for Bagley III, Porter Jr, Doncic, Ayton, Bamba :banghead:

Waste of another season of this rebuild IMO. Waste of a chance at a star. Being right where we are now next summer. No end in sight to the bottomless mediocrity tailspin. :banghead:

Wow...at a glance it seems like we play more away games than home. I know it's not, just looks that way. Also only large home stand at the end of March. 30+ wins is gonna be tough

Maybe they're protecting their brand

I like the news stories that the late home stand could be decisive for the Magic. Read: Orlando could be a playoff team !!!!!

Teams with the best market and product(players), and most wins sans Lakers always get first dibs. The Magic have to do their due diligence to step up. Each game they win, each season they get better, the more respect they will earn.

Weird. We won't be in San Antonio in February this year.
We're usually there every year.
And every year I promise I'll make the hour drive from Austin to San Antonio to treat myself for my Birthday.
And every year something comes up and I don't make it.
But I was totally gonna do it this year!!!!! :banghead:
