Throughout the year, I also compiled a few ideas for next year’s fantasy league. Just some exploratory ideas incase people like!

Future Fantasy Notes
- Truly randomized schedule. 1 click only. Not based on draft order.
- Remain at 14 teams.
- 1 Commish only.
- 8 seed playoffs, not 6. Kills excitement way too early. And every single year there are consolation brackets pulling off higher stats than actual playoff ones..
- On time start! But not too early either, its fun having preseason action to look at during the draft!
- Read in a Y! league start date for waiver wire, aka don’t unlock the league until a specified date/time (so 1 team in the league could pick up a hot preseason rookie like Kuzma while another team didn’t even officially join the league yet).
- Transparent the detailed rules/format (simple link to past threads with more detailed rules solves this easy).
- Waiver Wire now depends on number of draft thread pics/vids a person posts in the thread. Ppl with the same number of pics/vids enter a randomly rolled dice game for waiver order.
- Betting pool for bet’ers only. But also perhaps a Magic RGM A&B League casual event at a Magic game, or Magic coupons/codes sent to all participants, with top 3 winners getting more amounts and the champion the most.
- Reinstate B & C Leagues, but keep 14 per league, top 2/bottom 2 format for A, top 4/4 for B/C. Mainly need Magic to be really good again tho, which is when the fantasy interest is very high on the boards.

I have to say, this league is veeeeerrry boring. Nobody talks during the season, this thread dies right after the draft and nobody makes trades. I make periodic add/drops and I pay attention to my team, but I need more excitement. My feeling now is I think I'm done. Might change as the new season starts up, but it's hard to be excited. Might join one on the general board.

I saw a good number of transactional waiver moves, 10 teams doing at least 15 or more, but the general excitement is definitely down. I honestly think it has nothing to do with us, and more to do with the Magic being so crappy the past few years. Whenever the Magic were playoff contenders, these leagues were more pumped up too.
