This is actually a big get.
Any team in any professional sport would want this guy. The stuff Seattle has been doing in MLS is highly regarded. And I know that having never watched a soccer game as I've read articles about their sport science for years.
Hopefully his past success follows him.

Is this a lead trainer? Strange title.
What we are seeing is the Magic going all-in in former-GM Hennigan's use of metrics. So the Magic will be able to predict what you want to drink and when you want that beverage.

Not sure Hennigan knew anything of metrics.

Love this.
The Magic have been behind-the-curve in terms of other areas of the basketball operations. Tenney is widely respected as one of the top sport science minds period.
There's no salary cap on coaching, player development, practice equipment/facilities, sports science, international scouting, CBA knowledge, etc. Smart organizations invest heavily in this sort of thing.
I hope the Magic continue to pour money into this operation. Make this a first class organization in very way imaginable.
