In years past, the magic have held an open practice at the end of training camp. I don't recall them doing it in the past 2 or 3 years, but this year it's back! Open practice will be held on Tuesday, 10/3/17. Doors open at 5 OM, practice starts at 6 PM. Admission is free. However, you do need tickets. They can be printed off the Magic website. Limit is 4 per person.

There have been open practices the past few years yeah. They had a fb feed last year but it wad only of Vogel talking to the crowd but then cut the stream because basketball reasons or some other really good reason.

Thanks. Now I can actually see the players close up rather than on TV. Will be around 114 if anyone wants to meet up.

Can you fire off some bullets - observations?

Not much going on. They did two 12 minute scrimmages. Then knockout. Now it is Q&A. AG pretty much ran his team on the scrimmage. Isaac and EP were on the other team, and Isaac did a lot of everything. Had a 3, a pull up, and a nasty block on AG. AG had 2 or 3 threes, a couple nice dunks. Birch had a couple dunks.

Let me see...Afflalo 0/3, DJ 2/2 both from deep I believe. Mack his his one attempt from 3. Oven Mitts 0/0.

Rudez and Mario were the last two standing in the knockout, Rudez won. Mario drained 8 or 10 3s in a row during the game.

Now they're doing karaoke.

Anyone at open practice? A summary would be awesome if there's anything of note going on.

Its actually on facebook, you can watch the scrimmage. So I did. AG shot the ball well from 3. Way better than last year so far.

I saw Isaac on AG it was awesome. Isaac is a beast. It was a loose scrimmage but the talent of AG and Isaac. Simmons looked way faster than anyoe guarding him.
