I didn't see a topic on here so I thought I would make one, looks like we have a "City" themed jersey coming next season (to be announced early 2018). And they appear to be galaxy themed, with the stars being references to both Orlando's space programs, and the stars used in previous jersey iterations. Even includes a mockup (which appears to be fake, but not far from the actual design):

This is not an official jersey. As Burry notes, he is only 25 percent sure on the design. But much of the other elements are confirmed. It seems like the wording and the jersey color are confirmed. There may be other elements that are not the same as this.

Again, thisis a mockup. But I imagine this is to go in tandem with UCF's new Nasa design, so I'm going to guess a black jersey with stars....somewhat akin to our jerseys during the T-Mac era.

Thoughts?

The Magic have had the perfect jersey under their nose for the entire existence of the franchise, but somehow always blow every opportunity to use it.

This jersey seems like a reach, but I'll wait to see the final product. The idea has potential if they can employ correctly.

I guess I'll hold out on buying a new Magic jersey for now.

I was thinking the same thing, I think I'll wait until I at least see the mockup.

That's pretty gross.

Not at all the same sport but it immediately reminded me of Formula 1 when British American Racing (BAR Honda) for a season had an "earth" livery and it looked pretty terrible.

OK it's a mock up that's "not the actual thing but holds elements of the actual thing" or whatever... I'll hold out judgement but eh, that's not exactly promising.

Why can't we just go back to the good ol logo back when magic had the black jerseys with stripes on them. The best Magic attire, logo, etc. Lets scratch this whole thing and start all over.

As an aside, I like the direction the NBA has seem to taken with jersey. Way better than last era's.

I think we should wait for a complete redesign until we have a new era to usher in, though.....

Black and white Hubble shots instead of color and I dig the look, honestly.

Looking at this picture has made me realize we really have a ******* gorgeous logo, though.....

Yeah, go back to the original jerseys and then do different special jerseys each year to drive additional sales. I actually kinda dig the concept as a special limited use jersey, I assume the colors would be more appropriate (ie no purple in it).

It’s only a ‘special’ jersey, right? Not our main one.

I think it could be fun with a galaxy pattern on it. But gotta make the rest of the magic colours and styles ft it better. Like, much less blue. More black and white with that kinda pattern. Unless you put the blue into the galaxy?
