Can’t wait till they clear cap space for all the free agents that are dying to play for Orlando.

I'd say there would be a few teams already in Mario's ear for next season and we've been told "thanks, but no thanks". We've buggered up (AGAIN). This whole organization is a mess.

Yup. We can’t offer him more than $5mil per. Someone can easily offer $6mil and a better opportunity. Hammond F up #2. #1 was trading away draft picks for crap.

The question though is who? Which team will invest that much playing time and money into him? I am thinking maybe the Bulls, maybe the Nets? I am not sure how many teams would.

$6mil is not even the MLE these days. I think a lot of teams will want to at least give him a call (especially non-playoff teams). After watching what Harris and Oladipo are doing, I wonder how many teams just look at us as a toxic situation and are ready to pounce on the little talent we do have.

Declining team option on rookie scale contract happens rarely. It basically states WeltHam "evaluated" Mario not to be NBA player.

He played well against the Mavs so I could see Cuban giving him a chance. It would be nice if we could somehow get Noel.
