We haven't had time to seen anything from Isaac and you're writing him off against any and all NBA talent?

What might it cost us to acquire that Minny pick at the deadline? Currently it is only the #25 pick. Surely this will not reach the lottery but only 6 games separate the #25 spot from the #14 spot.
That pick could easily become much more of a draft night trade asset.

That was against competition which wouldn’t hold their own against the NBA G-league.
You are overly obsessed with foreign talent. That is understandable given your familiarity with it but most should have some sense of their homerism and know when to tone it down.

Comparing international competitions such as Euroleague, European Championship or Spanish ACB League with G leagues speaks volumes in itself.
1. There are NT out there that have a lot of NBA players on the roster such as France or Spain.
2. International teams have beaten USA NT several times in past, unless they come loaded with superstars - hence USA didn't win 1998, 2002 or 2006 World Cups. It didn't have the drawing power of Olympics, thus USA came with "B" level NBA players.
3. No NCAA team consisting of U21 players is close to competing with grown man in G League, let alone Euroleague or NT team.
Player in question here (Luka Dončić) is considered top 3 pick among most mock drafts, many listing him as No.1. Why does it bother you so much that you resort to call me a homer? SMH.

The last injury update I read was, " Nowhere near return"

? That wasn’t an insult. We’re all homers dude. No one can watch everything and anything related to the draft. We follow what we can and that limited sample impacts over favorites. It’s not all that different than supporting players from your college team for no reason than they went to your school... a phenomena known as being a homer.
Being in BIG-12 country, this same thing had me high on Ben McLemore once upon a time. It happens. It’s just good to be more aware of it.

Understood. I don't think it is applicable in this case as that is not the reason I'm behind Dončić, or any European player for that matter - this is first time I suggest drafting one in lottery (Exum is not European). Guy is as proven as it can be at that age and has the highest floor of any player in the draft. I've said he could be smaller, much better Hedo - thus Manu Ginobili if you like.
On another, more selfish note, I'm not a big fan of young players going for greener pastures as it backfires more often then not. There was a time in old Yugoslavia where it was illegal for young player to sign with foreign team before turning 27 - and that was too harsh and unfair, but it did made our league much better than now when most prospects leave as teenagers.
I'm following NBA because I love basketball, in the purest form and have a privilege to consider Magic as my team as much as Partizan - something that I simply can't do with any other team in Europe as they may or have on some level - in past, now or in future - compete against Partizan. Being a fan here has a different connotation than in US, I guess. It was a fun experience for me attending NBA game and having a single woman police officer smile and check my ticket before going in arena. Here we are usually greeted by squadrons of riot police both before, during and escorting us back after the game.
