If we did #1 we should be moved to seattle.

Wow... this thread might better summarize the state of the Orlando Magic and its impact on the mental health of fans than any before it.

You also have to consider Mario is more likely to be able to play small forward than Gordon or Isaac.

I love Mario, but if we did that (let Gordon go) and signed nobody in the offseason I don't know how you could justify it.

Well I think they'd have to have a big signing and maybe drafting Bagley or JJJ.

I think if another team offers Gordon the max, Orlando may try to negotiate with Mario before they match.

Yeah do you want to sign Gordon to a 5 yr 146.5m deal or Mario to a 1 yr at 4.2m deal?

Ownership should fire Weltman and Hammond if they even give this serious thought. Send out Gordon who’s smack dab in the middle of a star turn in favor of Mario, who may just be proving to be a contributor. It’ll be just like with Oladipo and Harris, two players who have blossomed since Hennigans dumb ass jettisoned them way too early.

Where are you getting that number from? If we are matching an offer then it would only be a 4 year since that is what other teams can offer right? It should be somewhere around Dipo's offer, so about 85ish right?
Can you also explain why you have this preference? Is it just money?

Fun fact: NBA rosters are allowed to carry up to 15 players.

Why do people around here envision a future that contains only one player for each of the five archaic positions?

Do you want to lose Gordon for the sake of keeping Mario for one year based on just a few weeks of solid play in garbage tank games?

Gordon and it’s not even close for me. I’m actually surprised some people voted Mario, must be holding onto that false hope. I can understand why tho.

Otto Porter signed a 4 year / $106,524,975 offer from the Nets just last summer under these same conditions. Add one season worth of inflation and that is what Gordon will get.
