2018 All-Star Weekend Thread: No Magic In the Air

Both of our players that might've been represented in some way are hurt (Gordon/Isaac), so we'll have to live through Oladipo and the other stars of the all-star weekend. Realized we didn't have a thread, so here's a makeshift one for now.

Anyway, here's Oladipo dancing with some cheerleaders:

I think either Mitchell or Oladipo will win the dunk contest

I'm going for Gordon in the 3pt and Nance Jr in the dunk

When’s the last time a Magic player did the 3 point contest? Pat Garrity? I vaguely remember him doing terribly.

Eric Gordon's game reminds me of a modern day Nick Anderson

Really sucks we have no representation this weekend. Gonna go with Beal winning the 3pt contest and Donovan Mitchell winning the slam dunk contest.

So much for my 3pt prediction lol. The contest has been full of bricks tonight. I'm scared for the dunk contest now.

I think Nance is least likely to win it because I can't imagine him coming up with really insane and creative dunks, he's more of an in game dunker

I wouldn’t have watched it even if Gordon and Isaac were in it. The NBA just isn’t for me anymore.

Can someone remind me again why we drafted Isaac over Smith Jr AND DM.

I was never a fan of the issac pick. High risk high reward just wasn’t what I wanted.

Cause it's their rookie years and DSJ hasn't done anything yet to make us regret it?

And DM was not even being looked at in top 7.

The thread title is fitting SOUL. This was probably the worst All-Star Saturday night I've ever watched.
