Vuc and AG starting, limited minutes.

Asked how he can keep F Mario Hezonja in a good rhythm now that he is coming off the bench as opposed to starting, @OrlandoMagic coach Frank Vogel said: “Keep playing him a lot of minutes. I intend to keep him in there.”

Let’s see how long that lasts for.

Wait this is confusing...

So is he starting or is he not?

He'll come off the bench (Vogel's been hinting at this for a while), but will supposedly continue getting big minutes... of course Isaac is still in lakeland, so it's easy to find minutes for mario even off the bench. What happens when Isaac is back in the rotation? Anyway, this feels like a waste of time and possible wins... mario's not sticking around to be a backup.

There’s no chance we lose this game.

Run every offensive play through Biz pls.

Why not start Mario at SF? Like what benefit do we have from starting Simmons there? Simmons minutes should be slashed in half anyways along with all the other vets. But we all know that Vogel doesn't have the balls to do that.

Mario should be the starting SF from here on out. But, I expect the Magic to start winning again with Vuc and AG back and Ross and Isaac not far behind. People forget how good we were until injuries started piling up.

Simmons is guaranteed to be on the team next year and is a new FO hire.. only reasons. Unfortunately.

Augustin/Ross/Fournier/AG/Vučević lineup with Simmons and Isaac off the bench was sick at the beginning of the season when Elfrid was injured. Sprinkle some Mario and Birch in there and it ain't looking good for our tank. It should take a week or two to get these guys back into shape after missing so much time, but we got to be careful.

I can already see it.....
Simmons will play selfishly and bad as he does 95% of the time.
Vucevic and Fournier will play selfishly, even when they are passing they do it just not to be too obvious.
AG will have flashes of good play, but with new contract on his mind he will go shoot something like 6/17.
Mario will be told by Veteran leaders of the team and Vogel that he should stay in corner and wait for his oppurtunity and that he should believe in teamplay and coach's gameplay....Mario will finish game 2/6.
.......and finally great win by Orland Magic over tanking Knicks 96-92. PURE MAGIC. Bye top 6 pick.

Vuc is sure to be a little rusty, so it will be important for us to really be aggressive in trying to "get him going." Jeff Turner did his part in the bedroom last night, now it's everyone else's turn to do it on the court.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Pathetic excuses if true. Simmons was not brought here to be a starter. Giving Mario the starting spot now would go along way in getting him to sign this summer. Simmons is a 28-year-old vet and there is absolutely zero benefit in starting him at this point in the season.

Nah, he turned down playing next to lebron so he could develop into a star here. He hasn't been shy about it. He's kind of delusional. One would hope he's been humbled and would now buy into sticking to sixth man, but who knows.

I will be watching the minutes distribution a lot more closer these last 25 games because I feel Vogel is completely full of it. Simmons starting still is just hilarious to me as his game doesn't fit the starting lineup at all. He is arguably the most unimaginative coach in the league.
