2018 Draft: Most likely busts

It doesn't matter how good the draft class is, there are always busts. Even in the legendary 2003 draft we saw Darko go head of Melo, Wade and Bosh. As much as we love this close, there are going to be multiple busts. So who do we think they are most likely to be?
Here are the 7 names people have been chanting most of the year. I predict at least two will be complete bombs. Who do people here see are the most likely to do just that?

I voted Porter and Trae Young. Haven't been big on either of them. Young looks like a middle schooler playing on varsity at times and that's only in college. Porter looked bad the other day but I'm more worried about his long term health than his current ability.

I voted Young (much the same reasons as j-ragg) and JJjr. Young was an easy choice but the second was much harder. This difficulty is why I made this poll.
I can honestly talk myself into any of these options. The most obvious is Porter given his health concerns but I don't want to use non-basketball reasons. I would prefer to assume all things being equal and judge only on basketball. I know the world doesn't work that way and health has to factor into the actual selection, but for this poll I am only focusing on basketball.
I'm going with JJjr because I see a well rounded prospect but I don't quite see that one part of his game that can explode at the next level. He has all the physical tools. Obviously something can develop but at this point, I see more tangible NBA skills from a few of the other guys.

Young has the biggest bust potential by quite a large margin. With possible health concerns, I suppose Porter would be a distant second. Everyone else has safe floors in my opinion.

Trae Young...
His game really scares me...

I did not vote for Young simply because I think the goes 7-11 and will not be a bust. His shot is too good and his talent level is too high.
But, I agree with everyone who voted for him as the top bust. I'm just betting against the house here.

Young - Porter - Ayton in that order.

I voted Bamba and Young.

I also went with Young.. followed by Porter.
I don't see huge bust potential in Bamba or JJJ, but i'd be shocked if either ever made an all star team.
They'll be one dimensional role players who are very good at their one skill.
Bamba = a better Cauley Stein
JJJ = Tim Thomas

If your going to make a title of Most Likely busts, let everyone list their own draft prospects and not just limit it to the 7 draft prospects, not cool. Wendell Carter looks like a bust to me, He may be looking good playing for Duke at times, But I doubt he'll be a great NBA player.

These are the 7 most talked about names on this board.
Wendell Carter is just lately cracking the top 10 in mocks. Without further surge up the boards he will not be drafted high enough to warrant “bust” discussion. The draft is always a crapshoot from that point on. But inside the top 5 you want a difference maker. Here are 7 high profiled candidates for a top 5 selection. There isn’t an option for a write-in vote.
If this is “not cool” enough for you then make a poll of your own.

Predicting busts should go for anyone that gets drafted in the 1st or 2nd round...................
Not a set number of draftees.................

Kinda surprised Trae Young is leading. If you think he will bust, then Luka has an equal chance to be a bust or never reach the hype people are giving him.

They are different people. It is statistically impossible for them to have equal chances of something as abstract as being a bust or a star in the NBA.

Hence why all of us as fans, all we can do is speculate. Im just saying that claiming Donic has a lower bust potential then Young is purely subjective and not backed up by any kind of evidence/statistics. They could both be busts or they could both be stars.

How is that any different than anything we as fans do here?
Different fans have different opinions. We're here to share those. It is interesting to see both the common and different opinions through a poll like this. But no one is right or wrong until we are well into the careers of these players. Should we not talk about or debate over them until that time?

Speculate away. I base my predictions based on historical data and analyzing past players during the college careers, their draft positions, and how their careers faired in the NBA. Also since we are all Magic fans here, obviously we want our pick to succeed and its pretty evident our clear need for a starting PG.
Bold prediction: If we pick him, Trae Young will be the second best Magic PG next to Penny.
Your turn

Ayton is the next great Magic big man in the tier of Shaq and Dwight.

I don't disagree. Ayton in my book has solidified himself as the #1 pick.
