Augustine is gonna be our starter and everyone will be pissed lol. Oh well might as well tank early again, start in training camp.

If our starting PG isn't Doncic or Young we need to tank next year... or at least, 'not focus on winning but development instead'.

Super weak PG class next year. We'd be best moving up this year into the mid-first round and drafting SGA if we miss out on Doncic.

Richaun Holmes has found himself out of the regular rotation this year, but he's a productive player when he's on the floor. I don't know, I don't see him every time, so maybe he's a bonehead and there's a reason why he doesn't play much. But in the dark, he's a guy I would be interested in trying to get.

I'm not too worried about the 'weak class' thing. In general, I believe the talent in the league is declining and will probably get worse as kids spend less time playing sports and more time playing video games and on their phones/tablets.

Maybe because our "rotation players" are G league talent themselves.

These stretch of bad teams will definitely make or break our tank. I don't think we'll catch Memphis but I definitely think we can catch Phoenix. Losing to them on Saturday would be huge for the tank.

I mean like most mocks don't even have a pg going in the lottery weak. In general, I don't agree with that statement though. They may not be as polished as they were when guys spent 4 years in college but the talent level is as high as its ever been imo.

I don't know man... I think we're seeing the start of it with the 19, 20 and 21 year-olds in the league... I just remember players coming in at 19 (even as recent as 5 years ago) and making bigger impacts. Of course, this is just a hunch on my part but I witnessed it when I was in the education system ~5 years ago in lower income areas... kids just weren't as interested (fanatically) as they were in the past. Way off topic though

I'm not worried about catch Phoenix as I don't think it's possible. With a ton of games against bad teams, I am worried falling all the way to 8th as Chicago only has 3 more wins than us but are blatantly tanking.
