OFFSEASON Dates of interest

Post#1 » by Skybox » Fri Apr 27, 2018 7:07 pm

May 15th...lottery

June 21...the draft

Who knows the other dates of interest for the offseason?

When does free agency begin and end? When does Mack's option renew (when do we have until to package him :D )?

Lots of trades on draft day but how long before and after the draft can they be made?

I think we'll know pretty quickly whether AG and Mario will get crazy offers although Mario may be somebody's consolation prize when they can't steal an AG or Jabari. I really hope we can keep MH but not expecting it.

Offseason beats the heck out of in-season lately

NBA is changing the draft odd for next season to prevent tanking.

So... We all in for winning?

The NBA draft Lottery is an important date. I f you look at the past coaching hires, it usually happens around the draft lottery.

They can negotiate with teams on the first I believe they can't actually sign until the 15th or so. Everything gets agreed to around the first though usually.

Still a 40% chance you land a top 3 pick. So we're all good to tank 1 more year!!! :D

I see Isaac making a big leap and if we resign Gordon our PF, SF position is locked.

- Start Ross or Simmons and have Fournier come off the bench, if we don't trade him.

IF we don't land a top 5 pick which in my mind should be whomever is available between Doncic, Ayton, Bagley, Porter than that means we are 6-8 and I'd rather take Sexton or Young in that range then any of the tweener Forward/center's that will go after the big Four.

Yes they can start contacting players and making offers/agreements on July 1st. You can't sign a player until July 6th or 7th when the moratorium is lifted.

Everyone remember DeAndre Jordan de-committing from the Mavericks. Tim Duncan agreeing to go to Orlando then backing out after Robinson famous weekend trip (+ Doc River's big mouth).
