JJ Redick on Jacque Vaughn

Interesting story from JJ on his time with Jacque in Orlando.

In discussing Brett Brown being from the Pop coaching tree, they talk about how Brett gets the Sixers to do presentations to the rest of the team on random subjects.

Redick explains how Vaughn also came from the Pop coaching tree and how one time during his year with Jacque in Orlando, he went to see the coach to tell him he was ready to play after an injury and found Vaughn in a conference room with the young players watching a documentary about male giraffes.

JJ’s thoughts? “We’re on like a 12 game losing streak. WTF has this got to do with basketball?!”

Lol doesn't even surprise me. I always felt like something was off whenever I heard Jacque talk during press conferences

Man I am still laughing hard from this. Can't believe we would choose the most irrelevant guy from Pop's coaching tree given the other options available.

What would make this story more telling if Redick walked in on:
