We know where we are picking, now the question is who will/should it be?

It's Young or bust for me at this point.

Got to swing for the fences this year and go with Young.

I want Young now but will settle for MPjr if need be.

Young could be our #1 option (Curry) to go along with Issac (Kevin Durant/KG hybrid) as his #2 option. If Gordon pans out at four we are set. And who knows maybe Fournier with all that spacing starts knocking down threes and we have something special. I would be pissed if we took another PF.

Sign me up for Trae Young if he is available at 6

Bamba. Has to be Bamba. Id prefer to trade AG for a young PG and take Bamba than draft Trae Young.

So many people are setting themselves up for disappointment thinking that we will select Young.

I vote for young. He would provide us with a different type of prospect than we have had the last couple of years. Finally a offense first player.

I feel dirty voting for young, but that’s who will be selected.

Trae Young is fools gold. Those gawky numbers didn’t even get his team to the NCAA tournament iirc. He’s too small and he’s a stat man like Fournier. We still win nothing with him. I do agree we don’t need to be looking at bigs though either.

It's not that I think he will be selected already its that I cant see Young whatsoever being the type of player that WeHam would pick. I've been a young supporter on this board and Id take him over Bamba and JJJ but I cant see Weltman feeling the same way.

His team made the tourny... most of them didn't show up though. Young dropped 28/7/5.

Young will either be Stephen Curry or Jameer Nelson. I'd still pick him at 6.

Sets up perfect for Trae young to be the pick but I’ll be happy with Bamba as well.

Never know.... if they think his offense can translate at the nba level they'd have to highly consider him. Point guard, go-to scorer, playmaker... all things we desperately need.

Hawks-JJJ
grizzlies-Bagley
Mavericks-Bamba

that's how i see it to be honest, those teams ahead of us pretty much need bigs and already have starting point guards except the suns who i doubt would pick Young 1st overall. Like i said though, the wild card is Micheal Porter Jr and if he shows any inkling of having that explosion back and he's looking fluid with his movements then things can change a lot. Although i'm not looking forward to what's to come, with prospects and their agents playing games....Not releasing medical information, not working out etc..
