The Magic should draft Trae Young at #6.

Hi Howard, you think Young is better than Fultz?

I'm not saying that but I would rather use the pick.

I cant see any PG better than fultz in this draft

I did, it s called buying low

Anyone draft pick has huge question mark

They do, until they play their first season on the NBA. Rather take that risk with our own pick instead of trading a pick for a player that literally forgot how to shoot, even his FT at times looked atrocious, even though he was pain free by the end of December. Hell he wasnt even used on the playoffs and there are questions about his issue being mental. But, to each their own. Hope he bounces back and shows he was worth a #1 pick but wouldn't trade our pick for him.

Fultz is better than any guard in this draft (assuming you consider Doncic a 3).

I would *absolutely* no questions asked deal the 6th overall pick for him.

Fultz >>>>>>>>> Young

Injuries worry me but if they toss in their 2019 pick (middle option) I’m all aboard.

Counter proposal to those not interested in Fultz.

Fultz + #10 pick for Fournier + #6 + future protected 1st which downgrades to 2nd if not conveyed.

At 10 we could very well get Bridges to be a 3D to grow alongside the offensive minded Fultz.

They get Young + Evan to replace JJ at a fixed rate they can afford without throughout having to resign their stars.

Can’t do this because it ruins our cap space.

BUT... I wouldn’t be opposed to Fultz and 26 for Mack and 6.

Swap Evan for Mack or the expiring deals of Ross or Vuc?

But in this deal the #10 pick is important as the Fultz / Bridges pair is what becomes important to Orlando. Hence a future first is tossed in for Philly.

Sixers need cap now, expirings don’t help. I don’t like the 2019 draft. I especially don’t want to trade a lotto pick now for a future protected pick that becomes two 2nds. Then there’s the fact Fultz and #10 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> #6, and really the only thing Orlando has to make up that gap is Johnny Isaac.

So I’d counter with Fultz, 10, 38, and unprotected 2020 PHI 1st for Isaac and #6.

Or just keep it simple and do Fultz and 26 for Mack and 6

That is very possible.

I would rather use the pick and have that extra year of the player on the rookie scale.

I also really like Trae Young along with a few other players.

I think they either draft Wendell Carter Jr or trade back and get Mikal Bridges if Carter's gone.

Bridges mirrors Klay Thompson in size and college career shooting percentages.

It might be worthwile trading back but I prefer to draft Young if he is there.

Trae Young would wreck Fultz.

I’m of the mind that if they’re willing to trade him for the 6th pick that means we should be worried enough about what happened last season to not make the trade.

Thats an interesting comp. Would anyone trade #6 for Klay? Thompson and Bridges games are fairly similar.
