What's your 2018 big board?

Post#1 » by j-ragg » Sun Jun 10, 2018 2:52 pm

So I thought it’d be fun to see everyone’s big boards (mods can feel free to merge if should be part of the draft thread), maybe just the lotto version because 60 is way too many names to think about. Big boards are always more fun to talk about and look back on, feels like mock drafts just follow DX’s and make a tweak or two to it.

1. Doncic
2. Bagley
3. JJJ
4. Young
5. Knox
6. Mikal
7. Ayton
8. Lonnie
9. SGA
10. WCJ
11. Hutchison
12. Aaron Holiday
13. Bamba
14. Josh Okogie

There's a top 5 for me. After that, it's kind of a crapshoot of disappointment. If one of those five aren't available for us, I'd consider trading back to 12/13 and hope Sexton and LW4 are there.

1. Ayton
2. Doncic
3. Young
4. Bamba
5. Bagley

6. JJJ
7. WCJ
8. Sexton
9. Mik Bridges
10. Mil Bridges
11. Sexton
12. LW4
13. Smith

I was just doing it overall, not from Magic’s POV.

Don't mean to derail but you really think two seconds is enough to not only unload Biz's gigantic deal, but to receive a lotto pick too?

Who would't trade a lotto pick for the next Deandre Jordan!

Why for the Clippers:
IF Jordan leaves (and he will), Clips don’t have a center. Biyombo can be an insurance, or a serviceable backup if he stays. I know there is financial constraint on this deal but this make sense on both sides, i hope they can do something. Clips will pick a PG for us in Sexton (turn 12th pick to plug a glaring need). At 12 and 13 picks, all ‘bigs’ (with potential) are gone.

Jordan 'might' leave, he is not enthuse in contract extension with the Clips.

"Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan said there have been 'zero discussions' between himself and the organization about a potential contract extension.

Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times provided comments from Jordan, who can exercise a $24.1 million player option in his contract before June 29 or opt to become an unrestricted free agent.

"I think I'm just going to hang out this summer and wait it out. I mean, it'll be a tough decision," he said. "I want to think about all my options and do what's best for me and my career and my family. But most important, like I always say, I want to be where I'm wanted. And wherever that is, that's hopefully where I'm going to be."

This is an interesting question, as I read it as "what is WeHamm's big-board."

No idea. There smoke screams are working very, very well.

At 6
1 Doncic
2 Young
3 JJJ
4 Mikal

At 35
1 Josh Okogie
2 Jalen Burnson
3 Grayson Allen
4 Melvin Frazier

At 41
1 De'Anthony Melton
2 Shake Milton
3 Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

Would really love for this to be the year we package player + Mack and 32 or OKC pick to move into top 25.. guys like Troy Brown, Khyri Thomas, Okobo, Shamet , Bates- Diop would excite me.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.
