Doncic

Post#1 » by magic111 » Mon Jun 11, 2018 5:59 am

Guys there's a good possibility that doncic could be there at six for us as he is falling. question is do you take him over a guy like a bamba or Jaron Jackson? Luca has no athleticism unlike Dirk and prozinges who are both seven footers and can just shoot over people how is this guy going to create offense in the NBA? how is he going to get by his defender? that scares me! Thoughts? Now that there is a chance he falls to us

At 6 he is no brainer but i highly doubt he will fall pass 3#.
If Hawks really, really love Young as much as it is claimed , making trade 3# pick and 19# ( Wolves pick) pick or some other asset ,for #6 and Magic simply draft Doncic and have another first round pick.

Getting Doncic is still best case scenario for me because we really, really need ballhandler with good basketball decisions.

Yeah, I saw big board on nbadraft.net too, they got Dončić going to us at 6th. Don't think it is likely at all, but if it does happen:

If he falls to six (very low for his standard), will he stays in Euroleague instead?

He was asked will he leave in middle of Euroleague playoffs...
what people expected him to say? "Sure, can't wait to leave this team that signed me as kid, made me millionaire and helped me reach my potential " ?

Doncic will be drafted first or second here is why

Suns hired Kokoskin as their new coach. he trained Doncic in Europe and loves the guy..why would Suns hire Doncic’s coach if they will not draft him his favourable player??

If this happens though there is no chance on earth Vlade Divac will pass on Doncic..he loves balkan players For God’s sake he signed Bogdan Bogdanovic on a multiyear deal. Well Doncic reminds him on his old fellow pal Drazen Petrovic (RIP)..they both had amazing stats in Europe and won everything they both could this young.
Doncic goes as 1or2 there is no way he slips past Divac:)

If Doncic falls to #3 we should try to trade up with Atlanta, let alone at 6. I want Trae, but Luca is special

Dream scenario but There’s no way he gets passed Divac. He’s going 1 or 2.

not sure why. Their games are very different. Doncic is not the deadly shooter Drazen was. And Drazen wouldnt run an offense like Doncic.

Yeah, but it's now 3 weeks after the championship game and he hasn't followed up. Today is the last day for him to withdraw from the draft. He should say something very soon if he doesn't pull out... otherwise questioning whether he'll come is fair game.

He has nothing to gain from staying in Europe: he won all there is to be won, at the age of 19.

But if he does, I'm willing to wait for him (and get additional top 5 picks in process).

The word is that Kings are looking in other direction at the moment. Apparently they are interested in big guys and could easily pass on Doncic because they have a lot of guards already. But obviously it could just be a smokescreen.

His mom confirmed for our media as well as his agent that he is going to the NBA. He is not staying. I am from the same country as him btw.

If Trae Young and Anfrenee fricking Simmons have their own threads, Luka Dončić sure deserves one too.

Not to mention complete lack of topics in general lately, this place is becoming dead comparing to where it used to be.

If Dončić drops to 6, Orlando won this draft by many miles.
