REMINDER: Draft night usually gets pretty hectic and crazy with all the trades and excitement and potential disappointment. Please, please, please make it easy on the mods and try to be respectful towards each other. That doesn't mean you can't show your excitement or displeasure, but we are not here to babysit people throwing fits and calling people names and lashing out. Just be respectful, otherwise there could be a few warnings or suspensions handed out.

Why I have this feeling that the Magic will have a surprise pick!
Experts talk about Trae, Bamba, Carter, Sexton and Porter even trading for Doncic.

Surprise surprise! The Magic select Kevin Knox

I'm pretty sure we're not drafting Young so should be a good night. (for me and future of the franchise)

Dream scenario: We trade up for Doncic

Semi realistic scenario: One of Bamba or JJJ falls to #6.

If not, I'll just have to be content with WCJ.

I'm also ok with trading down for the Clippers picks.

Doncic

Anfernee Simons

Isaac Bonga

Omari

Basically I want us to draft these 4 and buy a 2nd round pick for a big. Replace Mack, AAA, Mo Buckets and possibly Hezonja with these 4 rookies.

Doncic, Anfernee Simons, Isaac Bonga, Omari, Jonathan Isaac, Aaron Gordon, Iwundu and Birch is a solid young core.

Do you guys fear they will trade later picks again if they keep their " two rookies at most " policy?

For those that missed it:

If Orlando is willing to include Evan Fournier in a trade for Parsons, that could facilitate a deal involving the No. 4 and No. 6 picks, but the Magic currently appear reluctant to do so, instead preferring to give up Bismack Biyombo.

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23858201/memphis-grizzlies-discuss-trading-no-4-pick-nba-draft

Some thoughts about this:
1. Funny how casual Evan is thrown into trade ideas and often met with "that's not enough", and here our FO's unwillingness to trade him could be a deal breaker, lol. I like Fournier a lot but if Doncic is there....

2. Sending Evans and getting Parsons clears up BIG cap space in 2020. HUGE.

3. If they're willing to trade up to 3 or 4, who's the target? Luka, JJJ, Bamba, ....maybe even Trae? Moving up to 4 assures that Dallas can't take Trae and send him to ATL. the possibility of us landing at 4 makes Hawks think they deal with or take their guy Trae at 3, leaving Luka to #4.

4. If we get Luka, find me the best defensive 3&D PG. I'd live to still make a play at Exum to pair with him. Not a good shooter but trade Vuc for Smart?

5. Draft day is my Christmas.

I think this time its a lot less likely. They were targeting this draft, second round so stacked.

News are starting to form my worst case scenario, there is a chance i will be happy with Miles Bridges which is scary. Still he can be one of the few top 10 picks valuable in play offs which makes this draft so weird
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

PG: Luka Doncic, DJ Augustine, Anfernee Simons

Sg: Terrence Ross, Jonathan Simmons, Iwundu

Sf: Jonathan Isaac, Isaac Bonga, Free Agent

Pf: Aaron Gordon, Mario Hezonja, Parsons

C: Biz, Birch, Spellman

That is a solid roster if we trade Fournier and 6th for Parsons and 4th pick

Please just take Trae!

Whether or not the colors are on purpose, he clearly wants to come to Orlando. Not only does he fit two of this team's biggest needs in shooting and assist, but he would bring a level of excitement to Orlando and the fans that I don't know if anybody else in the draft would do. Luka would be an awesome get, and I'd be cool with Bamba, but I am going to be depressed if he is available at #6 and they pass on him and go with Sexton, who I like, but not nearly as much as Trae. Please, Weltman and Hammond, don't mess this up!

It’s not guaranteed that Doncic is there at 4 but I bet if he is, we make that deal if the offer is still on the table.

Luka or Trae and I'm happy and excited.

JJJ or Bamba and I'm happy.

WCJ or SGA and I'm meh.

Anyone else, I'm not even watching the rookie presser tomorrow.
