Who is coaching the SL team?

its usually an Assistant, IIRC... but not sure if we have any.

The Magic actually have four.

Pat Delany
Steve Hetzel
Bruce Kreutzer
Mike Batiste

All four were on Steve Clifford's Hornets staff a year ago.

Still at least one more open spot for an assistant.

Kendall Stephens will get his shot with an NBA team.

The Wolf Pack alum who set the Mountain West single-season record in 3-pointers made last year has agreed to join the Orlando Magic's summer league team, his mother, Kay, told the RGJ.

Stephens had pre-draft workouts with the Lakers, Thunder, Celtics, Mavericks, Kings and Magic, which was his first team he worked out with June 10. Stephens also took part in the pre-draft secondary combine at the IMG Academy in Florida.

A 6-foot-7, 205-pound guard, Stephens played one year at Nevada after transferring in from Purdue. Stephens averaged 13.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game for the Wolf Pack, hitting 44.3 percent of his shots, including 42.2 percent from beyond the arc.

I can imagine if any of the PG'S are playing good, That we should sign them because it probably be an upgrade over Augustin and Mack.

Augustin is very under-appreciated on this board.

DJ is too small to be good defensively, but he was rock solid offensively after Elfird got traded and he moved into the starting lineup.

He had a cool little .459/.423/.908 shooting split as a starter.

It's on league pass too. I launched my NBA app on my smart TV to see if they were streaming the draft and the summer league games were there. Just wish didn't have to wait two weeks but it is what it is. And the coverage will be better in Vegas since it's in a legit arena not the Magic practice court lol.

Finally, FO finds a way to add 2 sharp shooter. Hopefully, Kendall will make a roster.

He shot well, but he can't run an offense for s***.

Dj apparently has this odd/even year where he is supposed to suck next yr cause he played good this year... so brace ourselves.

Dj is a “scorer”.

What about the players that were on our G league team last year? Troy Caupein, TJ Price, Maverick Rowan, Jamel Artis, Rodney Purvis, Reggis Onwukamuche. I kinda think at least 1 of them makes the summer league team?

Our Current Lakeland roster is only showing Alan Anderson, Byron Mullens, John Petrucelli, TJ Price, Maverick Rowan and Jay Wright.

Caupein and Artis I think were our 2 way contract players last year so what happens with them this year?
