Kevin O'Conner of The Ringer reports that The Magic promised Kansas Point guard Devonte' Graham with #35 so The Hornets jumped ahead of The Magic to get him.

Maybe so but any PG available at the 35 isnt going to be any starter material. If weltman really thought there was a PG in the late first and early second that could .have started for this team long-term he would have made some kind of trade. Guys like Brunson, Graham, Okobo, and even Jevon Carter would be worth giving a shot then having to endure another year of DJ/Mack.
Im sure Weltman/Hammond have something planned during free agency or trade to address this situation. Something has to happen to our PG rotation before season starts.

I could end up way wrong on this, but I think Frazier has a better chance of being a quality NBA rotation player than Graham does.
Backup wings > backup PGs for my money.

Not really, van fleet fits the bill (minus wingspan)
I still would like to get fultz on the cheap
Otherwise I can't see many options

We could probably trade a future second for a guy like Frank Jackson from NOLA, he was hurt last year but had potential coming out of Duke.

Brogdon has a 6'10.5" wingspan pretty long for a PG or SG.

To be fair Brogdon is probably an above average bench PG. Bucks have tried using him as a starter and always end up seding him back to the bench. That seems to be where he plays best. Still for most parts, you dont find a PG like Brogdon in the second round. Hopefully, Hammond can find some more of those outliers for us here in Orlando.

Monta Ellis was drafted in 2nd round. Gilbert Arenas. Goran Dragic. Van Exel, Mark Price, Isiah Thomas.
So Thomas, Dragic and Brogdon all playing right now.
its rare, but it happens.
