Re: Biz appreciation thread
Certainly a great guy who did a lot for his country.
IMO, he didn’t do anywhere near enough work on his game from when he first came into the league.

Re: Biz appreciation thread
Seemed to be a loved teammate by a lot of guys, especially Mario. Thanks for never pouting or showing lack of effort.
The butter hands were annoying as hell but I think our team had no clue on how to utilize him and I think the beast that dominated Cleveland in the playoffs is still there somewhere.
Favorite moment was the block party with him and Ibaka

A really good guy, just awful fit with the team and not a good contract. Wish him success in Charlotte.

Re: Biz appreciation thread
Biyombo and Mozgov are pretty much the poster boys of that ill fated summer of 2016 signing bonanza where teams saw the cap jump by 24 million in one swoop and GM collectively lost their minds.
I will say this about Biz. He wasn’t a good player, but there is something to be said about availability and he was always healthy and ready to answer the bell over the last two years.
Unfortunately we can’t say that about pretty much anyone else on the roster.
I wish him well in his future endeavors.

Re: Biz appreciation thread
Biz is a good dude, will never be worth that contract unfortunately but at least he’s a positive locker room presence. Can’t say that for a lot of people.

Re: Biz appreciation thread
Not his fault Rob gave him such a bad contract. Always seemed like a likable guy and a good teammate. Good luck Biz.

Admittedly, I was one of the fans of the Ibaka/Biz experiment, even though it ended up giving the lab rats cancer. Good luck my brother, I wish you well.

Re: Biz appreciation thread
Biz is clearly a likeable guy and does great things for the community he's in and, of course, his home. But he seemed to care mostly about doing humanitarian things and crossfit more than work on his craft in terms of basketball.
That's not necessarily a bad thing in the grand scheme of life, in fact, it's a great thing that he uses his money, power, and time to help those in need. But it's not good in terms of trying to win basketball games and help his team win.
Will always remember him on this team for his heart and hustle.
