I look at this of getting rid of one prospect and taking a look at another. Wasn't a fan of Purvis anyways. Something definitely has to give though because the roster is unbalanced right now.

I forget, is there a cap on the amount of cash that can be sent? If not, I suppose it's possible that they sent us like 1.5mill (or maybe a bit more) and that we waive his 1.4mill guaranteed salary and wind up with a free 100k in the Devos coffers compared to just waiving Purvis like we were likely to do. Meanwhile, OKC sheds the 1.4mill off their cap. Which would have to mean something for them in order for this angle to make sense. Luxury tax threshold maybe? And they'd save their owner a million dollars or so. I'm not going to go look because I don't care enough.
