Minus Taxes and Agent fees and living expenses, more like $10 mil over 4 years. Thus, $2mil per year this year alone to live on minus whatever gifts he is buying everyone.

It can be a slippery slope, which is what leaves so many athletes financially ruined. It's nice to do nice things for other people. It's important to know when to say "no" as well. Mo is an intelligent guy. He's got a lot of $$$ coming his way.

For the guys saying he is blowing his money. He bought a gift for a long time friend who is like a brother who in his mind helped him achieve his goal plus always had his back when things were rough. This isn't some kid spending his money on parties and crap.

He bought his friend a used BMW?!? That's even worse
BMW = high $ to maintain. High $ to insure.
I hope the kid has a good paying job or they stay friends for a long time so he can afford to get it repaired when the time comes.

There's nothing wrong with what he did, I think he's pretty cool for it.
I'm just pointing out what I would do, I guess.
