Could it be that new nba store they are opening in downtown Disney?

My guess is 30-year rebrand. Hornets just released theirs.

The Disney thing isn't opening till next year I doubt it's that.

Hear it is Alex Martins and Isaac on hand.

Hoping for either new loo, new uniforms, or perhaps both.

If it was about selling we'd probably already know... and we'd probablt hear it from someone other than Denton.

My guess is it’s announcing the All Star Game coming back to Orlando, if the city is involved in such an announcement

A rebrand would be nice. Honestly hoping that it is.

I also think it's most likely to be the All-Star game. We've been lobbying for another one.

The Magic aren't moving in the immediate future and you would have heard something about the team being for sale. Logically it's the All-Star game in a few years. It could be something else, like some level of rebranding, but I'd say it's at least 80% to be the ASG.

Got to be a rebranding and new jerseys, why else have Isaac on hand if not to have him model new gear.

I like the AS angle because Martins has been point on the entertainment complex they're developing at Amway. Maybe it's a construction update and announcement for what it will look like plus the date the AS game is coming.

I might backpedal slightly on the ASG angle.

That was from December. I don't know if they always wait a full year before making the next announcement, but it's something to keep in mind.

It's still a logical conclusion though. Orlando is one of the ideal spots from a city infrastructure perspective, and Martins has been trying to get another one since he feels like we got shorted by having the game during the lockout year. There haven't been reports of the Magic submitting a bid for the 2022 game (like ther Kings and Jazz), but it kinda goes unsaid since we know that Martins has been trying every year.

Has to be the Allstar Game. We kind of got robbed when it came due to the shortened lockout season if I remember correctly. The team/city have been asking for a do over ever since. The team should conceivably be pretty good by the time it happens and hopefully kickstart a new era.
