Is it just me or does Bamba already seem like one of the more popular guys in the NBA among other NBA players. It seems like the guy is friends with everybody. Have to think that that could help in recruiting other players down the road. Everyone likes him.

It always scares me when they become friends with everyone because that's more mouths telling him to leave us and join them. But that's a little bit away before he becomes a free agent.

True, but he is team controlled for the next 5-7 years.. assuming he turns into a beast, maybe he can sweet talk some players here. :D

He looks so fragile. Better not play him more than 10 minutes.

My heart dropped reading the first part of that. I thought it was going to say that he was joining Clifford’s staff. I would of loved that

Haha, I hear ya. He did say this:

"I want to do something, but if I'm not coaching, I don't want to work too hard," Van Gundy said. "If I'm going to be grinding, then I want to coach. If I'm not going to be coaching, I want to be semi-retired, at least. I really don't know."

Sounds like he doesn't have an interest in that sort of role without be a HC.

I wish NBA and College Basketball can start playing their games that end with a projected target score like (The basketball Tournament-TNT) does. Depending on the teams playing each other and the in game scores should determine a target score needed to win the game. They should at least do it when games are a blow out with a couple minutes left in the game. I hate it when a team is down by 10 points with 1 minute left and they think they still have a chance. And the team that's winning still has to drain clock and constantly get fouled.
