Im not connived at all it will work since our wing play is atrocious and our shooting is atrocious. How does it make sense to double down on what didn't work?

That's what happens when Dumb & Dumber (RDV & Martins) run things. Bamba should not have been the pick, should have traded down for a wing or PG.

I disagree. Bamba was the right pick for what was available to us at #6, trading down for a lesser prospect would of been a mistake. We should of traded up for Doncic and maybe for Young for possible franchise-changing talents on the perimeter. The league has been trending smaller for a reason: It. Works.

Is there nothing beyond 2018/19 for you?

It feels like this is thinking for everyone here. No one can see more than a foot in front of their nose.

There is always a chance that it will fail. but I really like those 3 and believe that they are still far from their end results. Realize and play to ones strengths instead of trying to be like other teams who you don't have the same personnel to emulate. We have 3 bigs that are above average in most ways... instill an offense and defense that caters to their strengths and see what they can do.

I understand people skepticism... but I like what this future could hold and I have no problem drinking the Koolaid.

IF it doesn't work.... so be it. It's better than trying to be something we cannot be.

Bamba is a better prospect than any wing or PG behind him. Trading down would have required quite a bit of return. I doubt such a deal was available. First off, RDV and Martins were not running these decisions. Second, you can’t call someone dumb for not acting on a deal which never existed.

Should we have tried selling a bit of the farm to move UP and snag a late PG prospect? That is a much better question to ask.

Ask yourself the same question. I've been saying the same thing for 3 years now, y'all continue to bash me and lie to yourselves about who runs things and who is to blame for the 6 or 7 year rebuild.

So next summer, when this team has won 25 games again for the how many seasons in a row, missing out on another top 5 pick for how many seasons in a row, then will you open your damn eyes and see the light of day?? How many more rebuilding years are you and 98% of this board going to continue to defend RDV and Martins?? Will you finally see it in two years when WeHam and Clifford are fired and we are still in the same damn mediocrity of a hole that we are in? After 8-9 years of rebuilding, will you finally wake up??

It is beyond clear as day, as to who runs things. I choose not to stay blind to it and continue to not buy into the false hope. When will all of you do the same?

I think Bamba and Isaac are cornerstones. AG might be the odd man out but I'm happy with the Bamba pick. It's what I would have done after Trae was off the board
