Hey Guys!

Just wanted to check in and make sure we are doing A and B League again this year? I think it's usually sometime in September that we start drafting. I tried to look back at last years A League Results to see how everyone finished, but couldn't get in.

I got absolutely crushed last year. Horrible season.

i subbed in more than half way through the season in the B-League, looking forward to a full season.

Contemplating giving it up. Not enough action... or even conversation. The fun thing about forum leagues for me, is that the league thread is supposed to active with talking and such, but that doesn't happen here. There's no glory in winning either, lol. Maybe 2 people say good job, lol.

I never spoke much when I played competitive basketball as I was pretty intense competitor that I would be psyched into the game instead of the camaraderie aspect of it. Besides, anytime I talked trash about games, I would get my arse handed to me! It is still fun to look at ur daily stats and manage rosters against people you know instead of random peeps on yahoo leagues!

Yeah, it would be nice if we could make it a little more active. Truthfully it seems like the draft is the best part of this league every year. Maybe we can push more this year to keep people active and trading throughout the season this year.

I want in again. I can strive to be more active this year.

Holy crap, Fitzpatrick goes for 400+ yards on only 28 passing attempts.

Fitzpatrick and Brees go for similar boxscores, but the Bucs starter needed 17 less passes to get there ?!?!?!

I guess if we don't have the interest, we can skip it this year. We've had it going for quite a few years though, I hate for it to end! I sent an email through the yahoo page to dapigskin which is who it said set it up last year.

Every year nice words THIS YEAR WE WILL BE COMPETITIVE and once draft ends it turns out its same old same old.
1/3 of the players go awol not even care to update roster once and when you try start conversation you just end up talking to yourself.Making trade is nearly impossible because everybody stick to their guns and overrate their own players (I do this as well so Im not without a fault)
Overall its a tradition and Id play again but judging from intrest chances are slim to none.

The only interest there is is the draft. And people complain that it takes a long time blahblah. But those who complain are those who just leave their teams to rot by the time the season starts. Lol

I renewed the league for you all, but you need to decide who the new commish will be so I can hand over the powers.

I’ll go at it again this year too.

And I’m down to join a side pool of players who bet $15 into the pot. Then the pot splits 70/30 to 1st and 2nd place based on the playoffs results (among only those who bet).

I dare you all to join the side bet.



If I am in Orlando towards the end of the season, I’ll also offer to buy a two drinks to any fellow A Leaguers at a Magic game (My family has season tix and usually keep most of them).

If anyone in A League is super rich, buy the cheapest Suite room and hold a RealGM Game Night too (+1’s invited too ofc). I’d chip in $25 or so to that if it has free drinks and snacks!!!

Not it. Seems like a thankless job.

I'll Commish if no one else wants to.

I have my team access back in the renewed A league, but my email/phone is different than last season.
