Never been skipped in any of the dozen leagues I play in every year for 20 years but this one, so whatever

I just copied and pasted last year's draft thread. I forgot there were two rules with A Leaguer's names to them :lol:

If you want, I can take your name out of it, but I'm kinda with Edrock here.. your name has now been immortalized forever which is way cooler 8-)

Yep, Yahoo League like every year. And they have some pretty funky positions listed for some players. Like James Harden is a PG, SG.

Usually Yahoo League will help you out with the player positions rather than put you in a box with them

I see someone got skipped on time. What happens for that person? Is it an auto pick or do they just pick out of the players left when they come back online?

They pick out of the players left when they come back online is the techinally right answer, but I hope the person after waits a little. I have sometimes waited longer for them (since my draft clock still had a lot of time left), and sometimes.. I was rude and took advantage (altho if I’m about to sleep or go to work, I will also do it, don’t want to oversleep past my own draft clock).

It’s crazy to see all these new, young names in their first year (of many to come) on top of the fantasy rankings.. Ben Simmons, Mitchell, Embiid.. and I suspect one of them might be top 7 value already this year.

It's a little bit complex, but the system/rules in place make the most sense where it is right now.

Firstly, yes, the clock has moved to 6 hours.

However, BMP had a 6 hour daily-grace period that everyone has because it was Midnight-to-6 AM (EST) during his clock, which is not time that counts toward any manager's draft clock time spent.

After his daily-grace period, BMP finally reached a skipped time earlier today.

At this time, Uraverage's trade with me has put me as the next up. But now my time has skipped as well, by just about 1 hour since the time I should have made my pick.

Currently, Horace Grant's draft clock is active, and he has just under 5 hours left to deliberate and make his next pick. Horace Grant can thus skip BMP and me right now, and it is up to BMP and me to make our picks before Horace Grant and others do so (to stop lightening our pool of talented players to pick from).

Because I'm sleeping soon (in my Asian time zone), I'll definitely make my pick in the next hour or so though. I emailed BMP some hours ago in hopes of him making his pick first. It's not being selfless so much as I really, really like the top 2 in my current big board anyways
