Lol no. Oladipo was a legit top 25 player last year and that team was full of offensive firepower, high charecter guys, and they had one of the best benches and rotations in the league. I think that we are building towards some of those things but next year surely won’t be the year imo where it all comes together and we make a playoff push. Still a couple years off from that.

I hope they Eat your Words. I dont see why, a resigned Gordon and a second year of isaac cant take us there this year.

I fully expect the Magic to easily eclipse the Vegas-expectations of 31 wins. Something in the 35-43 range would have my wager.

But a marginal chance for an 8th seed this year is not "Last season's Pacers."

Frankly for Orlando to get 48 wins would require 4 planets to align while during a Red Moon. It is not impossible, but it is a once in 100 years kind of thing.

No, they'll be the 2014-2017 Magic. Half ass tank, half ass try to make the playoffs. Pick 5-7 in the draft, miss out on top players in the draft. Rinse, repeat next year. Rinse, repeat the following year and so on and so on......

Def not. We can't shot and we did not do anything in the offseason to improve that.

Agreed. The Pacers had a plus defender at the 5 (Turner) and we have Vucevic.

The East isn't horrible and some teams like the Bulls and Knicks could be even better than us.

Augustin is a nice shooter but he's not a good point guard. Tunnel vision

Really? I think Vuc won both match ups last year. The 1st one he absolutely killed Turner.

Do you think I wouldn't want those things to happen? I see both of them making jumps and an impact this year but do I think its going to be the type of impact to secure us the 5th seed? No, I just don't see it next year. I suppose there is a path if things go perfectly and AG makes a huge leap similar to Dipos but I don't see that as too likely.

Agree with this. The other important thing for me is health. We've had many years where players have players sat with injuries they would have played with if we were in an actual playoff hunt.

I'm just hoping we have some actual player development. That alone will bring me joy. Not even concerned about the wins and losses. I want to see growth. I want to see our young players like Isaac and Bamba play through their mistakes.

I'm done with Vuc. Don't need to see him play or "help us win".... No reason to hang onto the past. He won't be here after the summer and we need to be focused on the players who will be with us long term.

Don't give Bamba the Mario treatment.

If we do well, Vuc will almost certainly be a big reason why. When he’s healthy he provides significant scoring, rebounding, playmaking and floor-spacing.
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

lol, if we have Gordon and Issac all of a sudden turn into a top 10-15 player in the league like Oladipo did then possibly. But right now we don't have that.

If we could somehow land a above average PG it would make all the difference in the world. I would even take a swing at Dragic if somehow he's involved on a Wolves/Mia trade.

You guys are acting like the Pacers are special..... only player on that team that had his first Above Average year Oladpio Was last year? Befpre last year he was considered a role player.Tell me who the second top 10-15 player is on that team? Sure we aren't a top 5 East team. But calling us far fetched from that team. Certainly not. That team Overachieved in a weak east.

Idk. But I rather have a 48-34 record than a shameful 25-57 record.

They have role players that know their roles and coach that plays to their strenghts.
Magic for years can only dream about that .
And Oladipo is so much better than any Magic player that it's pointless to even debate .
