ESPN did something similar with Jabari Bird in their top news section many times this year. Every time there was news it was Bird and whatever the short headline was but they made it appear like it was Larry Bird for clicks. Clever, kind of.

Agreed. I would love to see the self proclaimed G.O.A.T. miss the playoffs the same season he made the proclamation. Makes it even sweeter that it would happen while playing for the Lakers.

Pretty awesome video I watched on him today. I’m really impressed with his story and think he’s going to be a very good player in this league for a long time.

Masai and that Toronto front office have done such a good job drafting and developing young guys there. Im still holding out hope that Weltman can build something similar to that here.

Really hoping that they use the G-League as a mandatory 1 year farm system for kids out of high school.

I’m all for getting rid of the 1 and done college rule (even as a duke fan), but it would be extremely beneficial for these kids to learn how to be a professional first. Just build up the G-league affiliates and make it interesting at least. More basketball to watch and they are at least getting paid.
