Mavs have opted to play Doncic at PF.
When healthy looks like they’ll go with...
Smith Jr.
Matthews
Barnes
Doncic
Jordan
WIth some semi interesting guys off the bench.

Super talented player, but he'll have to slim down to take his game to the next level. He's a bit pudgy.

Isn't this usually a sticky?
Anyway, Ayton is making me hella jelly. They got a true #1 in their rebuild hell. Through all of our mess, we never got one (Dipo at #2 in a weak draft was not as sure) and he just looks so ready. UGGGHHH. I like him lol.
IdEk what they are doing at pg. They let go of Elf, Tyler and B Knight to go with a dleaguer and a new draftee and traded for a young guy too. Bold of Igor to go with completely unfamiliar players to the league, but was it smart? Time will tell.

I had Ayton and Luka as my 1a/1b with a drop off to a “group of 5 or so” before a STEEEP drop off to the rest.
It’s super early without a single meaningful minute played but I see no reason to doubt my pre-draft order.

So Jimmy Butler won't hold out and is willing to play in regular season games. I know the Wolves will play him, because he's their best player and they want to win, but screw that. Guy skips out training camp and preseason and then just wants to waltz in for game 1 and get the ball in his hands? Nah.

League has to step in in situations like this and force players to play.
This is laughable. He has contract ,fully guaranteed - go and play.

JJ is putting on a shooting clinic in China right now against the Mavs.

Welp i guess it wasn't so smart for McDonough, being fired and all today. Lol, Sarver is PHX version of Slick-haired Martins, not that McD did everything right. Firing the gm right before the season starts after he hires your coach and handled your draft/off-season seems really weird. Owners get tired of taking Ls. Sometimes they contribute to making Ls though. *shoulder shrug*

I thought Phoenix had a pretty good offseason, weird timing.

There must be a personal-error with ownership. Nothing else makes sense.

Sarver has earned a long reputation for aggressively involving himself in basketball decisions, but it’s become harder for coaches and front office staff to manage in the past two years after the Suns became Sarver’s primary business interest.
Suns coaches became accustomed to regular beratings and demands of strategy and lineup changes, league sources said. Rival executives could sometimes hear Sarver yelling in the background on negotiation calls with the Suns’ front office. Agents tell stories of private conversations occurring with Sarver without the front office’s knowledge.
Ok so maybe Martins isn't THIS bad. Yelling in the background of a negotiation call? lol

Jimmy Butler Returns To Practice, Verbally Challenges Coaches, Teammates
lol
Butler was reportedly vociferous and emotional at times in targeting Tom Thibodeau, Scott Layden, Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins.
"You (bleeping) need me. You can't win without me," Butler reportedly screamed at Layden.
Butler requested a trade before the start of training camp but the Wolves have been unable to find a trade to their satisfaction.

The Mavs did it again. Another generational Euro talent. Doncic as many of us predicted will be amazing.
