I really hope we don’t have to watch Iwundu start again.

Hang on, I am in Miami with really good seats and you are telling me Mozgov is not playing?
Trip ruined.

Iwundu actually has looked a little better so far. Not saying he is great, but he can somewhat shoot the ball now.
He also really battles hard on defense. Guys who fight through screens and make life tough on the wings will get minutes. More importantly, I think he helps establish a culture of hard work.
The worst part about watching the Magic the past 5-6 years was how they just gave up and did not work hard.
Additionally, the more Iwundu types out there giving effort just magnify when a guy like Vuc does not. Vuc gets the benefit of the doubt now as the incumbent veteran, but I am not sure how long that will last.

Agreed wholeheartedly.
Clifford seems like the kind of guy who really values effort, hard work and hustle, especially defensively.
I think Iwundu could see minutes this year much to the chagrin of a lot of this board

I don't mind him getting some minutes as long as he doesn't turn it over and plays good D

Iwundu and Frazier are both very similar in the respect in that they're a consistent 3PT shot away from being a solid rotation piece.
But if that jumper never comes...

Who isn't Clifford raving about? Problem with people looking good in practice is... they are playing against Orlando Magic players. But I do wish Iwundu all the best.

Been playing organized basketball for over a decade and still can't shoot. I'm not sure how this is even possible, I mean, I understand a center that grew up playing center and never shot 3s or something, but you can't hit a jumper by the time you make the NBA?

Because an ankle made him miss most of the season last year?

Pretty sure this game is televised tonight so there shouldn't be any issues finding a stream for the game tonight.
Can't wait to see how Bamba fares against Miami's bigs tonight.

yeah....i'm among some that think part of the time he was out was due to tanking purposes. Last year though when he hurt his ankle it looked pretty bad on tape, this case it looked minor. He said if it was the regular season he could've still played in that game in philly, misses the flamenco game 4 days later and is now going to miss this game? 7 days later? now i know, just a bit hyperbolic but was the tweak that minor though?

If it means sitting out preseason games and being 100% for regular season, i will take it. JI just grew another inch this summer so his body is not fully mature yet. This is why the magic are real cautious.
Imagine growing an inch while playing nba ball at 7 feet. Its wild. Better safe than sorry.
