Personally I think the guy is one of the best NBA level coaches out there.

I was pretty happy with the Clifford hiring (I know that may not be a popular opinion), and that hasn't changed as the preseason continues, but I sure wish there was some way to bring SVG back.

Why is he one of the best coaches out there?

He's a finger pointer, a yeller, has bad rotations, plays favorites, and his sulky face beats Eli Manning's.

he didnt show being a great coach in Detroit. and he ensured he wouldnt come back the way he aired inside information to the press. Not saying it wasnt deserved, but that guarantees you wont be back.

It must be a staple to start a bring back SVG thread at least 3 times a year. Love his passion, but his yelling gets old.

He will never return as long as Alex Martins is here.

It depends on the player, imo.

Not sure why fans would want Orlando to go with its 6th coach in the last 4 years; sacking a coach even before game-1 is played.

SVG might be washed. Not sure what led him to play non-shooters around Drummond. His Magic teams were pioneers of the small-ball movement and then he didn't try to replicate it

SVG has shown himself to be both unprofessional, a poor coach and a poor front officer executive. Even if Clifford is a poor coach (and I think he potentially is), he's ahead of SVG just by being professional and humble enough to allow team construction to be done by the FO.

All he does is scream and get mad. I don't think he really is that good of a coach. We had a good roster when he was here, that's all. We had tons of shooting and a major inside presence. A lot of height and length. His impact was a bit overrated.
