Would've been sad to see the end of an era on Inside the NBA, but the start of entertaining times here in Orlando.

Barkley is one of my top 3 favorite players of all time so I'd be cool with it. When you're at the bottom, the only place you can go is up.

I can't speak for lately but during the Dwight years he was the only one in the national media who had our back.

Its just hard/impossible to consider the Devos family selecting Barkley for the job for so many reasons.

We propably would look like Knicks from Francis/Marbury NyK era...a bunch of bordearline washed up stars playing below mediocre basketball.Would sure be fun just not very perspective.I expect Butler would be with us now.

I think you will be surprised with how Isaac and Bamba turn out.

Charles has been somewhat close to the Magic for a long time. Pat Williams brought him into Philly and after he moved to Orlando, the relationship continued. Along the way, Charles became good friends with Alex Martins. It's very reasonable he interviewed for the job and because of their friendship, I'm sure he felt like he had a shot. Ultimately they went a different way.

Charles likes Orlando a great deal. I've met him a bunch of times downtown from when he was here for the World Cup to his infamous incident at Phineas Phog's. He was always a really great guy in person and most times he had his wife with him when he went out.

I love the guy but unsure how he would be in a GM role.
