I Pray for this..

Post#1 » by iTs JusT zo » Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:35 am

We do things the right way. We have come out on the wrong side of luck for so long. It's time to reap our blessings. Magic by far.. Most improved team. Vuc up there with mvp.. Of the whole entire league.

Everyone will play amazing and continue to surprise us.

It's a good time to be a magic fan.
Yet even amid the suffering that results from sin...god's love is revealed.

Imagine when we get a NBA level PG rotation.

I love that the magic are playing great basketball but slow your roll on the vuc mvp talk. Let’s see if he’s still doing it in January

Yea a bit too soon to be celebrating, we have a lot of ball to play left. We need to see how we perform under adversity (injuries/shooting slumps).

I agree with Dream though, imagine if we actually had a competent point guard running the show? Yikes.

I just hope we stay the course and don’t do anything irrational.

If we lock up the 5-6th seed, finish better then the Hornets, Kemba has to consider us. Old coached who he loved and a young WINNING team. Adding Kemba and retaining our core, would be a tremendous success.

The Magic are fun. That’s about the best thing you can say right now.

They play hard. They play together for the most part. It’s a much better product than we’ve seen the last few years.

Will it hold up? Who knows? But we can certainly enjoy the ride while it’s happening.

This next stretch of games will tell us a lot about what kind of team we have this year. If we come out of this with a .500 record I think we could be in store for a good season. They've been known to fold on these type of road trips in the past though so we will see what happens.

Well this would be a though road trip for anyone in the East so this isn't a great indicator of where we are.
but it's better to go out on this road with the confidence we gave right now than losing to the Knicks and other

I've been wanting to win games for so long but we still got a ways to go. I always felt if we won more games we would be a bit more attractive to free agents. Who would want to waste their prime years on a team that's at the bottom?

If we seem like we're going in the right direction a free agent might think they can take us to the next level.

The Magic is right at where the have typically collapsed. The coming road trip will indeed teach us fans a lot about what kind of team this is.

The good thing about this road trip is that there is only one BtB and the front end of that has an afternoon game; the Magic should never be tired for any of these match-ups.

I would add that Kemba mentioned Augustine as his first NBA big brother who he's very fond of. Our Kemba aspirations have, until now(?) centered on next year's cap space (Vuc, Ross, Simms)...2 of those are part of the appeal/success...will have to make some moves to free up Kemba money IF we get on the field with him. Good problem that we're even discussing tho

The roster starts as:

Walker/Augustin/Briscoe
Fournier/Frazier
Isaac/Simmons
Gordon
Bamba/Birch/Mozgov

Then with Mozgov's salary for the 2020/21 season, Fournier and a SnT should get the Magic a fantastic SG in two-season's time. Let's call him Bradley Beal.

A starting five of Walker/Beal/Isaac/Gordon/Bamba is a potential title team.

DJ is a quality NBA PG and very good backup.

What you should have said is, “Imagine when we get a great starting PG.

They may not be stars but are either of them really that bad? DJ shot is pure as hell and Grant has been surprisingly good shooter.

Grant has to be the worse PG in the league if you are comparing minutes played.

He is a good backup that is on a nice stretch. Lets slow down a bit.

To qualify as a Bird free agent, a player must have played three seasons without being waived or changing teams as a free agent.

So: yes.
