There was a timeout and when the game resumed he only got a 1-and-1 for some reason. He missed and Duke got the rebound. I was flabbergasted. We were only up 1 at the time. Not sure if everyone just forgot that he was shooting or if the ref called it wrong but it was a head scratcher. (note: I know i'm complaining a lot about the refs but I don't fault them for the loss).

Does anyone think the NCAA with the mass media who wants Duke with their prized star talent and their Zion Cam to lose this early in the tournament? The fix was in. UCF still almost beatem.

Absolutely. As long as Fall was in the game we were CLEARLY better than them. And yet he couldn't stay on the floor. A couple of his fouls were pure garbage.

Looks like Ucf is getting the short end of the stick to the tune of a million dollars with the folding of the AAF.

Turns out the league has not paid Ucf for use of the stadium.

Sham, scam league. Funding in place for three years. They said.

Lol

Feel bad for all of the innocent folks that got bit in arse by this.

More and more details keep coming out. It's crazy. Players returning to their hotels to find their stuff in the halls, having to book their flights home. Injured players are going to have to pay for their own medical treatments. High level staff didn't even get told they were terminated from anyone, just found out and then were asked to stay on free of pay to handle refunds and clean out offices. The list goes on and on.

Hell of a career. Hope Sitton can fully enjoy retirement.

The Ucf spring game is at 2 pm this Saturday.

I’ll be there, but dang .... it’s going to be a scorcher.

It’s been 6pm kickoffs for a while, but the AAF had a scheduled game for this Sunday, forcing the earlier kickoff.

Ugh.

Tickets are free.

General Admission is indeed free. It's $5 for the Cabana section, $10 for Stadium Club.

I thought when we landed Wimbush he was going to be the starter, from the spring game I think Wimbush is still the favorite in a open competition still.

Jmo, but I thought Wimbush was the fourth most effective QB today

He missed many throws, but was under pressure up the middle.

To me the qb battle on the field rated as:

1 Mack
2 Gabriel
3 Jones
4 Wimbush.

Gabriel and Jones have the biggest upsides but may not be ready for a while.

UCF signs 3 players for basketball. Tony Johnson will likely start at PG right away unless we snag a high quality grad transfer or Terrell Allen changes his mind and sticks around.

We have 3 more scholarships available, need to find a grad transfer PG or two and hopefully another wing. Right now Johnson is the only PG on roster (without Allen).

If Allen doesn't return, our starting lineup right now is Tony Johnson, Darin Green, Ibrahim Doumbia, Collin Smith and than either Avery Diggs or Moses Bol.

We are set with big men- Yuat Alok, Collin, Diggs and Bol. When Yuat is ready to play in January, one of these 4 bigs won't be playing unless 1 or 2 of them are in foul trouble but UCF will address that when Yuat is eligible to play in January.

2 of our last 3 spots definitely need to be guards and 1 of those definitely has to be PG. Perhaps fill all 3 spots with guards.

Hill was the only guy drafted, but nice to see a lot of guys get picked up by NFL rosters.

Hill going early surprised me. Hope he sees success in Dallas. Lots of great talent from our team getting a chance to make it in the NFL. Can’t say the same about the team to the west

Ucf BB is making a nice roster recovery for next season.

Matt Milon is transferring in for the fall season.

He will provide some offense with perimeter effectiveness.

I've seem a video of him dominating at the high school level for Oviedo. Maybe he come play at La fitness for a little until it gets close to the start of camp. He will have a lot more help at UCF than William and Mary/ Boston College.

Got my MBA today, was seated a few rows ahead of Tacko and Chad Brown who were getting their bachelors. Place exploded when they said his name and he walked across the stage.
