Not sure if we can get away with starting Simmons much longer.

I really feel like Isaac got a vest tonight. He literally changed this game with his defense.

I feel the same way. I thought he would provide more impact, even in limited minutes, but it's clear he needs strength and conditioning work, and just a better feel out there. But it will come. My issue isn't with criticism, it's just if you've ever been on this board during draft night, people do have their biases with draft picks and if a player we drafted wasn't "their guy", they will be quicker to be more harsh and criticize them harder. NOT EVERYBODY is doing this. Certain posters are.

It's a marathon, not a race. Bamba is making a ton of mistakes but it's easy to see how he can change the game if he gets stronger and improves in diff areas, which he will.
People are acting like Bamba has not had good games. He has has some really good games. Clearly struggling right now but that happens to rookies.

Great win against The Heat. I always love when The Magic beat them but this was impressive. The Magic are back at .500 too.

I’d give it to AG for that 3rd quarter but JI is becoming indispensable for us.

I don't see him becoming a volume scorer but the key to me is him finding a way to efficiently get his points within the flow of the game while giving us this level of defense

He will. Night and day from the start of the season, also helps that people are actively looking for him now more. Still needs to get hit under the basket when he's open *cough* *Fournier*, but if we upgrade our starting guards to be our volume scorers (along with Gordon being able to do it at times), we don't need JI to be a big time scorer.

Yeah he definitely has had some impressive moments and really solid games, but they're few and far between. Even I can acknowledge that. Just think he's going to turn it around sooner than later and not going to go crazy over certain things right now. I can't wait until he has a summer of training and can gain weight.

Also, at times, I think his long ass wingspan actually hampers some of his movements. Just like how I think Porzingis is probably a few inches taller than would be ideal for a guy with his skillset. But it's a WIP.

Anyway, 2nd half was great.

Vest to Gordon but Ross again deserves credit, and Isaac is a beast on D.

JI is so good. Vuc continues his great season after a rough start, he was rock solid tonight.

This issue Bamba has is he is so aloof on the court. It's like his head isn't in the game.

They needed that win because the game tomorrow against Denver is gonna be long shot and if Oladipo is playing for indy that came will be a challange as well.
